Chapter 17 - I hate you Gavin Winter

A/N: I changed Serena's name to Selena because I had wrote another book that has that name so I changed her name in THIS book instead of the other one. Enjoy the chapter!

I woke up to someone shaking me by my shoulders. I opened my eyes but only to see Gavn's face mere inches from mine. Gavin covered my mouth when I was about to scream. Gavin smiled and pulled me up so I was sitting up. I narrowed my eyes at him and motioned my eyes, to his hand. Gavin looked at his hand before quickly removing his hand and blushing a bit. I sighed and got out of bed. Gavin took my hand led me towards the door. We climbed down from the treehouse, quietly since everyone else was sleeping.

"Why did you wake me up? The others are still asleep?" I asked.

"I wanted to spend the day with you" Gavin said, smiling.

"Really?" I asked, surprised and he nodded. "Ok then" I smiled.

"Great, come with me" Gavin said, taking my hand once again and lpulling me softly away.

We walked about ten minutes away till I saw a hammock covered around native flowers which looked absolutely amazing. Gavin went around me with a smile on his face as he took my hand and pulled me towards the hammock. Gavin pick me up and placed me on the hammock. I moved over and motioned for him to lie next to me. Gavin lied down next to me before pulling me on top of him. Our legs tangled together and my head was rested on his chest. I smiled and closed my eyes as Gavin stroked my hair.

"Do you feel better?" Gavin asked. my head snapped up to look at him, questioiningly. "Yesterday you felt sad, remember?" Gavin said, raising one eyebrow and smiling.

"Oh yeah! Yeah, I feel much better" I said, smiling back and Gavin chuckled, his chest moving up and down as he did so.

"That's great to hear" Gavin whispered.

"This is an adorable sight, right here, it's fucking adorable" I heard Niomi's voice.

Me and Gavin turned our heads to the left to see Niomi with the rest of the gang behind her. Niomi was smirking with Charlie and Mariah. I blushed and hid my face in Gavin's chest as they all laughed, even Gavin. Gavin hugged me and kissed my forehead.

"Guys, stop embarrassing her" Gavin said, sternly but still smiling.

"Come on you guys! Just give up and -"

"Oh for goodness sakes! Just say you love each other already!"

We all looked at Charlie weirdly. Charlie blushed and looked away. I rolled my eyes, Charlie is so impatient but so am I and Niomi. Gavin shooed them away and they walked away. Niomi, Mariah and Charlie winked at me before leaving. They've wanted me and Gavin to hook up after I told them I had a crush on him, even before I told them, they wanted us to get together because they weren't very fond of Kyle.

I sighed happily as me and Gavin sat there, looking up at the trees and wines above us. They were giving us shade and there was a bit of sun light streaming through the little holes between the trees. It was beautiful. I would stay here forevr but let's face it, we can't. We got our family, school (sadly), food that will last longer and our homes. I curled up in Gavin's arms, closing my eyes and smiling. It's not so bad when you got Gavin as a pillow to yourself.

The sound of a helicopter and the rough wind coming from the helicopter alerted me and Gavin. My eyes widen as I sat up, as did Gavin, his arms still wrapped around my waist. I quickly got up with Gavin. A ladder was pulled down in front of me and I looked towards Gavin, who motioned me to climb. I hope the others are on that helicopter. I jumped onto the ladder and climbed up onto the helicopter. Gavin followed after me.
