ＣＨＡＰＴＥＲ 9

They knew it was going to be cold outside when the four of them left, this wasn't going to be easy as the streets were full of riots and chaos as the streets were gripped in fear. They had no choice as walked as fast as they could, sticking close together as Missy lead the way. They couldn't take her car or anyone else's as traffic was bumper to bumper and some were just restricted to the side of the road.

Looters were taking the opportunity to loot shops for anything they can't find. As the sound of shop alarms going off everywhere, like the sun has gone and so did the integrity of humanity. There were shouts and screams as the sound of police cars whizzing passed them with ambulances and fire trucks but it didn't matter there was nothing but darkness.

They stuck close to each other despite the street lights were on, which was the onky lights that was on and it does seem that there was an emergency board cast system in place, coming from the television sets  in the window, "Guys hold on a sec", Elliot walked over as he rubbed his hands together from the cold air,

They walked over as the looked at the  screens of the Television sets showing the board cast on the screens. They couldn't hear nothing as they were behind the glass window of the shop, "Fuck I can't hear nothing of what they are saying", Elliot grunted,

Ryan rolled his eyes as he grabbed a nearby rock which must of fell or been thrown from somewhere and threw it at the window breaking it. The alarm went off instantly when he broke it, "It was logical", he shrugged his shoulders,

"Rebel..", the Doctor muttered with a smile as Elliot reached in and turned the television set volume up,

But the alarm was too loud, "I can't hear nothing man", Elliot grunted,

Then Missy took out her sonic screwdriver and pointed it at the alarm as sparks from the box flew out and the alarm shut off. They looked at her as she grinned, "There is that better?",

Elliot grinned as they watched as they saw the countries prime minister walk to the cameras that was set up outside of ten downing Street. It was still hard to hear as there was still people running around like crazy people acting like it was the end of the world. To which it really was as the prime minister addressed the nation,

"People of Great Britain, as you know an unpresidented even has oocured, I understand your fear in this difficult time and urge you all to remain calm and stay at home as possible. I have spoken to most national suppliers of the gas and electricity boards and agreed until we truly understand the nature of this problem, no home or business is going to be cut off, constant power is going to continue, including water and basic needs. I appreciate your needs of fear but we can't loose ourselves in this time of crisis. I know theree are reports of looter and riots going on in the streets that has overwhelmed the police and ambulance services and encourage you to go home and in effect the armed forces have been asked to work along side the police to help keep the safety of the public and bring the roits to an end by any means possible without harm to the people. Once we have further information we shall let you know but for now go home and stay safe. In effect immediately anyone found looting or caught fighting shall be arrested, please this is a difficult time, go home and listen out or watch for the next board cast, thank you".

This was from the prime minister as they looked at each other, "Well this good right?", Ryan asked,

"No you don't get it, they are cracking down on people being out, they are brining in the army, they have guns and if we get caught they either send us home or arrest us", Elliot pipes up,

"He is right, we have to keep moving and away from the riots", Missy sighs,

"Yeah but of they have guns shouldn't we, you know lead them to the Canary wharf and say hey man these guys are responsible for this mess", Ryan asked as he watched Missy start to walk off,

"No Rayn, the British government only gives the public what it needs to hear, they probably already know what is going on, the illuminati are everywhere and the chances are they know we are coming to stop them",The Doctor stares at Ryan as they walk together,

"So wait your saying the prime minister of England is illuminati?", Ryan gasps,

"Why you think he won the election with a landslide, I mean think about it, for moment, they been playing chest, placing all the pieces together from day one, then when the pieced are in the correct place... Checkmate", Missy speaks up as she gasps as she walks fast,

"Sorry but you are going to explain to me how this... Chest is fits in this, I just joined your team and I still don't get it", Elliot asked as he walks behind Missy,

Missy paused for a second as he turns to look at it, "Very simple, the illuminati has been around for centuries, men of power, hungry greedy men, wanting control of everything including science, using science to destroy things including the existence of God. But no they want more and they found something, something they didn't expect",

"A time lord?", Elliot interrupted Missy,

Missy grins, "Yes and not just any time lord, a time lord that has been hidden away for so many years even my dear best friend didn't sense. So when my dear friend has been protecting your Earth little did he knew, he was setting it up for Omega to rise, but he didn't do it on his own, no no no, he had help", Missy continued, "Oh for the record I am a Time Lady now or Mistress of time, you choose",

"Mr Linderman?", Ryan asked,

"Yes Mr Linderman, this Mr Linderman has been placing the pieces for Omega, and Mr Linderman knew exactly every move we made and has continued to place everything in order in perfect timing", Missy looks at them all and keeps on walking,

"You admire him don't you?", Elliot stares at Missy,

"In away yes, this is the most diabolical scheme ever and look it has worked to perfection, which everyone been chasing the hate at the greyhound race track, they been playing their hand in all the right places", Missy looks around for a moment,

"If you like them so much why don't join them then", Elliot grunts at her,

"Because my dear friend, I have something to lose, I have lost so much", Missy sighs, she sighs knowing if they do succeed in defeating Omega that would mean she will loose her friends, especially Ryan as he would be Suki again and won't even know who she is,

"Your talking about her..", The Doctor looks at Missy, as she knew the Doctor knew she was talking about Ryan but referring to him as his former self.

Missy just nods as she carried on walking then stops hearing a police car coming. She looks at them as she spots an old concrete stair case that was leading down to the embankment of the river themes, they followed her quickly as carefully walked as fast as they could down them then she stops as she turned to look at them,

"One problem you all forgot about until now", Missy looks at them all taking a deep breath,

"Oh yes what's that?", Ryan asked,

"If, and I say If he is illuminati then think about it, they have their own army and you know they will have their own troops out there in place most likely guarding the building", Missy grins sarcastically at them,

Elliot huffs, "Fuck... you tell is now... oh great",

"Man why do I keep forgetting about those dude who almost killed me and my baby", Missy sighs deeply,

"So it really is a suicide mission", Elliot huffs,

"Oh yes and I love it, I mean don't you lot feel the rush, we be heroes and saving the world, okay fine people may never know but we have a young lady who will remember this day... Or night of the tale of the Mistress of time.. And her friends on the quest to save the Earth", Missy looks them all with a smile,

"That's beautiful and all but don't forget, after this, the person you are now Missy, will never be known no one here will never of heard of you, but I will...", The Doctor points to himself as they all continue to walk on the path by the embankment,

"If we don't try to stop these guys, there won't be no one left in this world as it will be gone", Elliot grunts at the Doctor,

"Oh please don't say that, have a little faith", the Doctor rambles,

"I wish there was another way, I know that of you do succeed,  I will never of met you babe and that girl, she means alot to you", Ryan sighed as he touched her hand as he took a deep breath,

Missy holds his hand and gives him a kiss on his cheek, standing on the ball of her feet, "Babe, I know I might be scum of the earth to moat people but don't think just because I am not excatly girlfriend  material because eof who I am, doesn't mean I don't love you, its true this girl means more to me than the rest of you, don't ask me this question, don't ask me her name, nothing, do you hear me, she don't know I exist and I want it to stay that way, cause I am not ready... Yet,  besides right now you Ryan you are my man...",

"I know,... I love you too, it just hurts knowing what we had is going ...it never happened, you have been the light in my darkness", Ryan smiles at her but looks down still holding Missys hand,

Missy let's out a small sigh and carried on walking, they had still a fare distance to go as the Canary wharf was still a fair distance away. They laughed but then brought to a halt as a groups of four armed men came out with automatic weapons with torches attached to their firearms pointing at them,

"Halt..", one of the men said,

Straight away out of fear the Doctor raised his hands, "Look, relax we trying to get back home, please do not arrest us",

"Let me see some ID", the soldiers asked,

"We don't have any on us, we are unarmed civilians like he said", Missy looks at them putting on a smile for them as she batter her eye lids at them,

"Where you going too then?", the soldier asked,

This was a problem as even though they knew London pretty well they knew they were going straight to the business section and what's beyond that they didn't know. Elliot on the other hand couldn't speak well to answer their questions as he was unsure of what to sat like The Doctor and knew the chances are going to be slim as he put his hands behind his head slowly,

"Let us pass, we are going home",Ryan looked at them,

One poked Elliot in the back as he was going to check him for any kind of weapon. The Doctor watched as he knew it wasn't a good idea to poke Elliot like that as he had a high temper when being proded, "Listen here fella I wouldn't do that, that's not a good idea",

"Keep your mouth shut we are asking the questions", the soldier snapped at the Doctor,

Missy smiles as she raised her hands and took a few steps back watching as they poked Elliot with the barrel of his automatic weapon. Missy shook her head as Elliot snapped disarmed the Soldier within seconds and fought all four of them. Missy was impressed as she lowered her hands and leans on the side railing as Elliot fought them.

He wanted to help but Elliot was in complete control the only thing he wasn't in control of, was one of the men radio ahead the report they were being attacked as she took out her sonic screwdriver and pointed it at the CB radio and made it break. Elliot brushed his hair back when he was finished and took a deep breath,

"He did warn you", she grunts as she leans down and takes the side arm from the soldier and slipped it into the back of Elliots jeans. She then took another one and tossed it to Ryan who looked at her,

"We going to need it, I assume you have had firearm training darling, after all you are one hell of a fighter or you forgot the fight in the museum", Missy takes a deep breath,

"Thirteen years training..", Ryan slips it into her pocket,

"Good, we better run, back up might not be far away", Missy added as they started to run from the scene, as Missy runs in her heels.

They started to run down the side of the embankment as fast as they could in the darkness it was crazy as hell as there was very little light and the street lights didn't exactly light up their path very well. They stopped a few thing to catch their breaths as they could hear the sound of military style vehicles going by as Elliot gasped out,

"They got here fast", Elliot gasps,

"Of course they did, they were already ready before the sun went dark and their will be more up ahead my friend, the closer we get to the Canary Wharf the more troops will be waiting for us", Missy takes a deep breath,

"So you really think they are expecting us?", Ryan asked,

"Yes I do, they been so many steps ahead they won't slow down now they are so close to the finishing line", Missy scoffs,

"Level with me man, how long until they turn our sun into this blackhole", Elliot asked as he breaths heavy,

"I won't lie, five minutes", Missy looks at Elliot,

"Five minutes...!", The Doctor gasps, "maybe a bit longer as it needs to build up the engery source first, so I would say fifteen at the most",

"I told you it's a fight to the finish, we either fight to get to the top or we die trying, getting nowhere and this earth is doomed", Missy looks around as she sees some concrete stair cast leading back to the streets above,

They sighed as they follows Missy back up to the streets, they kept low as there did seem to be a lot of police and Military vehicles about. They walked about keeping low as the Doctor spoke quietly,

"We are not far, as all I can see is trouble and I mean we are so screwed kinda trouble", the Doctor spoke quietly,

"I know it's not far look up you twit", Missy looks at him,

The Doctor and Elliot looks up seeing high up was the light beacon flashing at the top of the Canary Wharf,

"Oh man I hate heights", Ryan gulped,

"Now you need to make the buildings alarm to go off", Missy whispered to the Doctor,

"Leaving only Omega and his men", Ryan muttered,

"Exactly, they come out we will go in and when we do, we need to make sure all elevators operational and security doors activated, I am guessing we have a short window before we are located", Missy makes her plan clear to the Doctor,

The nods as he takes out this small device as he pulled out a wire which was it's antenna, "Alright just give me a second to communicate with the servers",

The Doctor who was leaning against the wall as he pressed the buttons on the keyboard as he started to login into the servers of the building, "Right they are certainly talking, but the power has been reduced by fifteen percent",

"That means the power is being drained so we better hurry up", Missy looks at him,

"I will mention that to him but you need to set up the protocol that I made and open up the mapping system file for the Canary Wharf", The Doctor speaks quickly and calmy to her,

"Okay how long you going to take", a worried Ryan kept watch,

"Type three three nine, QYG", The Doctor types in the code as Missy speaks as Ryan and Elliot keep watch,

"Okay done and mapping system is ready to execute", the Doctor speaks as he turns around thinking he heard a noise in the alleyway,

"Okay on my Mark, just wait...", the Doctor speaks as he looks at Elliot and Missy, "Okay it is ready to go", he smiles,

"Good, we need this distraction", Missy looks around as like Elliot all they can see is soldiers and and police, and hear the noise of people rioting in the streets further down,

"Hmmm, wouldn't the buildings alarms be enough", Ryan asked,

"No, too many guards and military, not to mention the police", Elliot grunts,

"We don't have much of a choice but....", Missy looks at Elliot, "How fast can you drive?", Missy grins as she sees an unattended police car,

"Why?", Elliot looks at her curiously,

Missy points to the police car, as Elliot sigh, "If I do this, this is me out of the game, I won't be able to watch your back",

"I know but we be able to get in during the evacuation of the building", Missy looks at him,

"I don't like this", the Doctor speaks out to Missy,

"We don't have much of an choice,  she is right, we don't have much time left and once she has that device then... None of this will ever exist", Elliot sighs,

"I know your right, but I am scared", Ryan looks at Elliot,

Elliot smiles and gives Tyan a pat on the back and friendly pat on the arm, "Look on the brightside pal at least I got to see London at night but hey who knows this is my redemption, for my family right ?",

"Please...be careful this is isn't a game", the Doctor looks sad for Elliot,

Elliot smiles then looks at Missy, "You sure you can undo this, all of this?",

Missy nods, "I am the Mistress of time, so yeah I am very sure",

Elliot looks around, "Save the world man", he takes out his gun from the back of this jeans as he ducked down and ran low across the police car. He opened the door and got inside starting to hot wire the car.

They watched him like it was the last time he was going see him. The Doctor made ready to send the signal to the servers in the building as he was ready to start the process. The Doctor watched Elliot carefully as he got the car started, Elliot smiled at them as he drove up fast skidding the tires on the road as he took his arm out the window to a surprised officer and shot him in the leg,

"You nobheads couldn't even catch a cold", Elliot yelled as he fired again but this time they fired back as he drove away.

They started to chase after him, only leaving a few men behind to guard the entrance as Missy watched Elliot drive away with the jeeps and cars of the men chasing after him. Missy looked at the Doctor with nod, "Now, do it now Doctor",

The Doctor sighs, "Okay...",

The Doctor pressed the button, "It's done, hold on to your hats people it's going to get a little crazy",

"You ready Missy this is your show now", the Doctor speaks to Missy with a nod,

Missy looks at them three, "They will be coming so get ready, we hit the back door then it's nonstop",

"Okay I am ready", The Doctor took a deep breath,

"Don't fall behind...", Ryan took a few deep breaths makes her gun ready,

They kept to the shadows as they stood near a wall in the dark as Missy kept her eyes firmly focused on the backdoor as she watched as it opened up and the workers started to filter out. She was fully aware that Omega would be able to sense her and the Doctor once they were in there, so no matter what she would have to move very fast.

She watched as she seen the Military personnel moving to the main entrance as there was only a couple of policeman escorting some people out the side doors. The Doctor had took out his sonic screwdriver making it ready for action,

Missy saw a opening as she took a quick breath, "Now let's go",

Missy waisted no time as she walked fast across the road in her heels but kept into the shadows, taking a long route to the back door. There was a police man standing near the door as she could hear more people coming out the back door. Her hearts were beating fast as she got near with the Doctor and Ryan close behind.

They were right near the door when the police man spotted her and ran over to her, "Miss Excuse me you need to leave this area, immediately this is a restricted area",

"Yes my sweet officer, but I need help my geandad he is very old you know, come here and look", Missy smiles encouraging the police officer to follow him and look at her fake grandfather who she was referring to the Doctor,

The Doctor hear everything and not too amused by her calling him grandad  and was a little off put by Missy's actions, as he didn't expect her to say that and the other police officer was distracted by the people coming out the door, "Oh my back, I need Help", he put on a voice as Ryan moved out the way and took the gun out his jean pocket,

"Sir are you okay?", The police man asked getting out his torch to see what the fuss is about,

Before he could have a proper look Ryan had hit the butt of the gun at the side of his head knocking him out. The Doctor grabbed the falling policeman quickly as they moved to the side. As Missy made towards the door and waited for the other two to follow her while the other policeman escorted the people out the building,

Missy, the Doctor and Ryan got in, but now they had to hurry as they were in the belly of the beast and Missy was running as she found the door to the main lobby as the three of them ran as fast as they could. Even the building guards shouted at them as they ran, seeing Missy slap and press the buttons to the elevator.

The Elevator doors opened up as they got in fighting off the security guards. Missy's heart's was racing hard, so was the Doctors as well as Ryan breathing heavy as they were gasping as Ryan took the gun off safely as the Doctor took out his sonic screwdriver making it ready to, as they could hear the security guard reporting in a report over the radio about intruders have entered the building.

It was game on as the elevator was going up, "So that was easy..a little too easy", the Doctor spoke out,

"You think that was easy, it was but now they are alerted to our present, those templars will be searching for us, no in matter of fact they be waiting for us, with guns and automatic fire arms", Ryan pointed out the problem,

Missy huffed as she points to the number pad of the floors, as some light up, "Oh crap, your right look they have pressed the floor buttons on 14 and 22",

"Oh no so when it opens up we are dead right", the Doctor sighs deeply,

"Not yet I can probably work it", Missy said taking out her sonic screwdriver and pointed it at the control panel as the elevator kept going up,

"What you doing babe ?", Ryan asked looking rather scared now,

"Simple we going to play cat and Mouse", Missy looks at them both,

"Say what ?", the Doctor looks at her surprised,

"Look no time to explain, but we by pass the floors they expect us to get off and you get off say the next floor then you run, when they see you get off and they will, they come after you, you make your way to the staircase and head up, we have a small time before the security doors lock us in and they have control of the elevators, when that happens... Game over", Missy looks at them both,

"You know your pretty much sending us to our deaths right ?", the Doctor looks at her so petrified,

"Listen to me Doctor we have no time, I need that device, once I have it, this is over I swear to your God's it be over", Missy looks at him, as she felt really bad about it,

She waited for answer as the Elevator stopped suddenly and everything felt like slow motion as the doors open with a couple of the templars waiting the other side and this bullet hitting Ryan in the shoulder. She moved to the side as she took the gun and fired back and she actually smiled for the first time,

"Cat and Mouse huh, well make sure your right Baby, I guess I can hold them here but not for long", Ryan  smiled as he fired again and scrambled out the elevator firing his gun,

"Babe no, please don't do it...", Missy screamed at him,

The Doctor looked seeing Ryan was bleeding, he knew that with a wound like that, it would trigger his regeneration and that could be even more dangerous. He grabbed his sonic screwdriver and pointed it at the weapons causing then to jam as he pushed Ryan back the steps out smiling, "Get up there now... I see you soon",

"Wait ... Doctor no, what you doing ?", Ryan holds onto his wounded shoulder,

Missy pressed the button as the doors shut again with Ryan hurt backed in the corner so scared, "Oh man no no, first Elliot now the Doctor, your cruel baby, cruel...",

Missy looked at him, "Sorry that was his choice, baby I told you that this a one way ticket",

"Your a bitch..sometimes... but I would follow you everywhere baby", Ryan looked at her as blood trickled through his fingers,

"I know but soon non of this will matter", Missy looked at him with a sigh,

"Tell me one thing, do you really love me or was it a game to you", Ryan whimpers,

"What do you think, I told you so many times I did, but now isn't the time, I do love you...", Missy sighs,

"That's all I needed to hear babe", Ryan gasps feeling the sweat coming on,

Missy sighs but the weirdest thing happen as they stood in the Elevator, the elevator suddenly seem to go up the building faster like they had no longer control of it. Ryan felt his stomach roll a it went up and Missy felt a bit flustered as it moved up the lights as Missy realised that they had lost control, it was too late, their fate was in the hands of Omega.
