Link looked through a crack between the boxes that made up the walls of Ghiraati's tent. The sky was starting to get a little dark. The sun was still above the horizon, but it was beginning to set. Ghiraati was no longer in the tent, which probably meant he had left for work.

Link had managed to locate the Triforce in the Legend of the Hyrule Warrior. It was said to have been a set of golden triangles created by three goddesses.

Apparently, its virtues were power, courage, and wisdom. Those represented the three goddesses who were Din, Farore, and Nayru.

But the Triforce was a physical object, something that existed on its own. It wasn't a mark of the back of your hand. Then again, the Legend of Time said that the Triforce shattered into the three triangles.

So it wasn't entirely impossible that Link saw two pieces of the Triforce last night.

Better not tell Ganon this. He'll just laugh and go off about how its not real. Link thought with a sigh of annoyance.

Link closed the book and left Ghiraati's tent. The book was somewhat heavy in his hands but he didn't mind. He walked all the way back to Gerudo Town, only stopping at the river that ran through the desert.

They called it the Urbotam River, after the Champion Urbosa from the Legend of the Hyrule Warrior.

It ran straight between Gerudo Town and Kara Kara Bazaar through the middle of the desert and southeast to the Faron Sea.

Link and Ganon used to sit by the river and play in the mud by the banks.

According to several studies over the years, the desert was slowly becoming more tropical. A few hundred years ago, there was no river running through the desert. And there certainly wasn't any grass in the desert.

It used to be a barren wasteland, hostile to most life. But now it was becoming less barren.

He walked across the bridge and continued on his walk.

When he got home, Ganon still wasn't home. So Link set the book back on his shelf and went to the bar.

The bar was pretty busy. There were a few merchants from the towns outside of the Gerudo region. But most of the customers were Gerudo women from the town and the settlement where the Knight Academy was located.

Ganon was serving drinks at the bar while Ghiraati served drinks out on the balcony.

"Hey, Link." Ganondorf said as he poured a glass of alcohol for one of the merchants.

"Hey, Ganon. How's the bar been?" Link answered.

"Busy. Very busy. I sent for Ghiraati to call in today because it's that busy." he said to Link with an eye roll.

"Ah. Would you like me to go ahead and make dinner?" the boy asked helpfully.

Ganon shrugged. "I don't know. I might eat here tonight. I won't be home until around midnight." he explained.

Link nodded. "Alright. I'll go to the market and buy some hydromelons and meat for soup and sliced melon." he said.

"You could easily open up a restaurant someday with your skill." the bartender joked cheerfully.

Link laughed. Then he saw it again. A set of glowing triangles on his and Ganon's hand. He wondered if his friend was seeing the Triforce marking too but he realized both of their hands weren't within Ganon's sight.

"Alright, I'll go ahead and fix dinner. Have a good night, Ganon." Link called as he left the bar.

The golden triangles were there again. I don't wanna assume it's the Triforce yet but now I'm sure. Link thought to himself uncertainly.

If he and Ganon had two of the triangles, the bottom-right and top triangles, then who had the last one?

In the legends, the princess of Hyrule had the Triforce of Wisdom. But surely if Princess Zelda had the Triforce marking on her hand, there would be a search for the other two individuals.

Only time will tell. Link told himself.

He walked up to the fruit stand and grabbed a hydromelon. He handed the woman a blue rupee and she thanked him. Link nodded and smiled as he walked over to the meat stand. He paid a red rupee for the raw steak.

When he got home, he lit the fire in the oven to preheat the stove. Then he started cutting the steak up into little, diced pieces. He poured a little milk with some gravy into a pot.

This was set the pot in the oven to heat up the soup. Then, he put the meat in a pan and set it in a pan on the stove.

While the soup cooked, he grabbed the hydromelon. He started cutting it up into slices and he used half of the slices for hydromelon juice and the other half went on a small plate.

After about an hour, Link put the cooked meat into the pot of bubbling liquid in the oven. The gravy and milk had become a slightly thick but not too thick liquid that Ganom happened to like a lot.

After about another hour, dinner was complete. He cut up a few carrots and put them in the soup for extra flavor.

He sat down on the couch by the door and started eating. It tasted as good as it always did. Link fixed this at least once every two weeks for Ganon. And he didn't mind because Ganondorf had to deal with annoying people all day.

The boy finished eating his food and began to read the Legend of the Skies. It was his favorite book because it was based in a time when Hyrule was not yet an organized kingdom.

It was a time when people lived on a land in the sky called Skyloft. It was also the beginning of the line of heroes in Hyrule.

His second favorite was the Hyrule Warrior legend because the hero had to fight two evils. He used the Master Sword against Calamity Ganon, but he had to use magic to fight Valoria.

His third favorite was the Legend of Winds because Hyrule was flooded in an attempt to save it from Ganondorf, who had been evil at the time. Hyrule was just a couple of mountaintops sticking out of the water and the castle held the Master Sword which was also underwater.

Link became so focused on his book that he didn't notice when the Triforce started glowing again when Ganon came in.

A/N: I am currently hyperfocusing on Star vs. the Forces of Evil right now and I absolutely ship Marco and Tom. Don't judge me. I may or may not start a little sidestory about that, a little break from Zelda stuff. Again, don't judge me.

Also, in case a misconception starts, I am still continuing this series. I will probably make like 10-15 books probably and that's about it.
