Link left the Lurelin elder's house and made his way to the Mirror of Farore. Garini was studying the ancient structure closely and writing in a notebook every so often. He sighed and cleared his throat.
"Hello, Link. The only thing that has happened is that the writing has changed from green to golden." Garini explained proudly.
And he was right. The writing on the Mirror was now golden. Link raised his hands and looked at the Mirror. He hit the structure with three flames. Then, he took water from the ocean and hit the Mirror once. Next, he gathered lightning in his hands and struck the Mirror in the center four times. Finally, she blasted it twice with wind.
The four symbols on the Mirror, Zora, Goron, Rito, and Gerudo insignias, began to glow. The Mirror began to shine on the cliff and the bottom of the wall began to crumble away.
Soon, a door appeared in the cliff. On the other side, it seemed like just a normal small cavern. But Link could see flickers of another world beyond the doorway.
"Go forth." Garini said excitedly.
Link stepped through the door and found himself standing in an elegant temple. He was standing in Farore's throne room. And on the other side of the temple was the goddess of courage and life herself.
"Forward, mortal. Appear to the crest in the center." Farore demanded.
Link walked forward and stood in the center of the crest. He looked at Farore. She had light green hair and was dressed in green and gold robes. A pendant in the center of her robes glowed with a Triforce inside of it.
"Raise your sword skyward and I shall bless it with my own power and thus forge it into Farore's Blade." the goddess instructed.
Link raised the Master Sword to the sky and closed his eyes for a moment. He could feel that his quest was about to reach its climax and that he was also approaching the end of his quest. He opened his eyes and found Farore standing in front of him.
She raised her hand. A green light eminated from the crest in the floor. Then, the goddess started speaking.
"This sword that has endured over the ages, the sword of the ancient master, is blessed beneath my power and shall under once more as a new sword, known as Farore's Blade. Whether skyward bound, adrift in time, or steeped in the glowing embers of twilight, this sword will be handed down, hand after hand, to its next master. May the first of the masters be the Hero of the Desert as his purpose to defeat Valoria comes closer yet. By the power granted to the hero, he shall now be blessed with the warrant of the true hero." Farore explained with a grand tone.
Then, a blast of light all around him. After a few moments, the light faded from the room. He looked at the sword and discovered that it had transformed entirely.
Instead of a silvery blue blade, it was now a shimmering golden. The handle was now green instead of royal blue. Where the yellow gem used to sit was now a glowing triangle, as if the Triforce of Courage had been embedded into the sword. On the blade, Farore's crest shone there instead of the Triforce.
Link also discovered that his clothes had changed entirely as well. He now boasted green garments. He wore a long, green cap with a green tunic and baggy, white trousers. He also had dark shoes made of leather. On his chest was Farore's crest and his sleeves had armguards that had an elaborate pattern on them.
"In addition, here is the Triforce of Courage. You will need it to seal away and defeat Valoria." Farore said.
The golden triangle in her pendant detached itself from the backpiece. It began to float towards Link and when he touched it, it absorbed into his hand. Sure enough, the Triforce glowed on the back of Link's hand.
