For: FirdhaRisa, who gave me this extremely cute idea, and I hope you like it❤

Author's Note: Ethan tryna be a millennial is just too cute sometimes😂 This is set during the phase where Blue and Ethan have some tension because of the whole Gwyneth thing, which will explain why they are a little restrained here. Otherwise, happy reading! ♡

It was his second cup of coffee that evening alone, and probably already his fifth one for that entire day.

Ethan took off his reading glasses, reclining in his seat before heaving out a sigh. The diagnostics team had gotten an extremely tricky range of patients that day, and the one he was currently working on was especially difficult to crack. He had sent the rest of the team home as it was already late, and ended up staying back alone to continuing working on the case. However by then, he had almost tired himself out completely, and the words in front of his laptop and phone, which he was using to keep his notes, were starting to look jumbled up.

Exiting from his notes app, Ethan found his fingers absently straying towards the application with the two white boxes and orange-pink gradient. It was the useless app that Blue had installed for him when they were working together to find out what was wrong with Gwyneth Monroe a few weeks ago. He had never touched that app ever since that day, and frankly did not see the need to. He could have easily deleted it from his phone. However, for some reason he kept it.

Without thinking, he clicked on the application sending him straight to his feed which was filled with...well...Blue.

He almost choked on the coffee that he was drinking when he scrolled down. As she was the only one that he was following, her entire feed was at his expanse as he continued scrolling down, almost even clicking like on a picture of her in her Miami dress which she had most probably posted when they were there together about a year ago.

As he continued scrolling through her pictures, he was suddenly surprised by the hissing of the office doors opening. He looked up to see the exact same face he was staring at through his phone screen just a moment ago. He swiftly locked his phone, hastily setting it down on his desk. Blue raised an eyebrow at his all too suspicious behaviour, but she could not ask him about that for he had already beat her to it.

"You're still here?" Ethan cleared his throat, keeping his voice levelled. "I thought I sent you home."

"I was going to leave, but my intern needed some help. I saw the lights on here, and figured I could check in about the patient." Blue replied, taking a seat on the other side of the desk.

"Still futile." Ethan let out a light sigh, trying not to imagine her in that Miami dress again. He had promised to himself that he was not going to look at her in anyway that was more than colleagues, and the image of her in that dress only brought him back all the memories that haunted him like the most beautiful nightmare. "I'll handle it. Go home and rest."

"I'm staying to help." Blue put her foot down, reaching for the patient file, when Ethan tried to pull it out of her hands. "Do you really think you can win against me on this?" she challenged him.

Ethan let out the breath he was holding, pinching the bridge of his nose. He knew that there was no use trying to go against her in things like this. She was stubborn in the best possible way and would always get her way. "Fine." he huffed out, releasing his grip on the patient chart.

They worked in silence for about an hour or so, talking out theories and reading up on articles that covered similar symptoms.

"Do you have more notes?" Blue asked Ethan.

"In my phone." Ethan replied without looking away from the article he was reading. "It doesn't have a password, you can just unlock it."

"Of course." Blue let out a laugh at that as she reached for his phone. "Old people are always too lazy to remember their passwords." Ethan rolled his eyes, though a small smile inched at the edge of his lips. "Oh wow..." he heard Blue say as his focus still remained on the article before him.

"Didn't know you were stalking me on instagram, Dr. Ramsey."

That got his attention, and he immediately lunged forward to take his phone back from her grasp, but it was too late. Blue had rolled her seat back just in time, laughing as she dangled his phone in front of her, her post from Miami still on the screen.

"Rookie, give it back." Ethan warned.

"Why were you stalking my account?" Blue asked, the amusement rich in her voice.

"I was not, you must have clicked something." Ethan retorted, making Blue giggle.

"Sure, that's why my post from a year ago was the first thing I see when I unlock your phone. You were stalking my account before I came in, weren't you?" she wiggled her finger at him teasingly.

"Absolutely not." he replied, keeping his tone nonchalant even though his ears were tinted bright red. Seeing his adorable embarrassment, Blue immediately used his instagram app, to click a picture of him. "What the hell are you doing?" he asked her.

Posting the photo on his account, Blue cheekily handed his phone back to Ethan. "It's high time you posted something to satisfy your followers."

"You're the only one I have." Ethan responded, scoffing in disbelief at his own face on his feed, captioned:

"Caught Red-handed🤡"

"Exactly." Blue grinned.

Soon, the playful atmosphere died down as they both resumed working again. Before long, the both of them had figured out the case and were packing to head home.

"Thank you." Ethan said, as he watched Blue heading for the exit. "I don't think I would have solved it this fast without your help."

Blue shot him a genuine smile, pleased with the fact that the tension of the past few weeks between them, which was mainly stemmed from the whole Gwyneth situation, the both of them were finally easing into each other's professional company again. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight." Ethan replied, watching with a forlorn expression as she exited his office. He returned his gaze back to his phone just as he got a notification:

'@Blue.S-Hunter30 has commented on your post.'

Curious, Ethan clicked on the notification, sending his screen straight to his instagram feed where his most recent post had a comment:

"Cute💖"

Despite himself, Ethan found himself grinning widely at that, not at all bother by the fact that he was caught red-handed by Blue for stalking her.
