I dropped the letter on the floor and was shocked.
It said.
Be wary of who you put your trust in because there are sometimes consciences of your actions, not just you, but other people as well...
-?
Who sent me this? I looked at the letter and couldn't find anything. I was petrified. Why would someone send me this?
I sighed and quickly reminded myself that maybe it's just some random guy who's trying to prank me, right?
I sighed and threw the letter in the trash can. I sat down and tried to drink some water. Why was I feeling so nervous?
Suddenly, someone knocked on my door. I quickly stood up and opened it to see my first patient of the day.
I should just forget about it. I'm sure that letter means nothing, right?

Taking off my coat with a deep sigh, I looked at the clock to see it was 6 a. m.
I was done for today and now I was on my way to Alejandro's place. I was still so nervous and I felt apprehensive the whole day about that letter. Something about it made me feel as if it meant something, something that was real.
Nevertheless, I grabbed my bag and walked out of the clinic, I went to the elevator and suddenly I got the right idea. Maybe I should ask Kathrine. She'd been at the front desk all morning, and she might have seen someone enter my clinic.
I went to the ground floor and quickly went to the front desk and thank God she was there.
"Kathrine!" I said and approached her.
"Hey Cam, do you need anything?" She says and looks at me.
"Yeah, umm, did you see someone enter my clinic before I arrived this morning?" I asked her, curiously.
"Hm, um yeah, yes I did! It was a guy. He was wearing all black. I couldn't see his face because he was wearing a black hoodie. Why?" She asked and sighed and played with my fingers nervously.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"It's nothing. I lied and shrugged it off.
"Are you sure?" She asked again and I nodded.
"I'll get going now," I said, and I hugged her.
"Bye!" She says as I make my way to the exit.
As I exited the hospital, I was suddenly pulled by the waist by two muscular arms.
I opened my eyes and giggled when I saw Alejandro.
"Hey," I said, hugging him.
"How did work go?" He said as both of us approached the car.
I said, "Great," and sat inside.
"Hey, Dante!" I say.
"Hello, Camila, Mr. Huxley, where to?" Dante remarked.
"We're going to the house."
He stated and shut the door behind him. He put his arms around me.
It felt so good to finally have him alongside me that I laid my head on his chest and felt his heartbeat.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"We're here." He whispers in my ears.
I sighed and sat up and yawned. He helped me get out of the car and we made our way into the penthouse, I have to say this penthouse is well decorated.
We entered the penthouse and went straight to the room. He laid me down on the bed and I looked at him and smiled. Maybe he had changed.
"Do you want water?" He asked and I nodded.
"I'll be back." He whispered and kissed me on the forehead.
He exited the room and closed the door.
Was I correct? Did he change? Maybe he did. Now I saw the sweet side of him, not the scary and cold side. I love him, and I am sure of that and I hope the feeling is mutual.
"Here's your water." He said and entered the room with a glass of water.
"Thank you," I said quietly as I drank the water.
"Camila," he said, and I hummed and responded as I sipped the water and set it on the nightstand.
"I love you." He said and I was shocked. Should I say I love you back?
I averted my gaze and heard him sigh; I felt bad, but I couldn't tell him until I was certain of his sentiments.
"I understand." He says and gets up and walks away, and I abruptly rise and grasp his wrist; I had no idea what I was doing, but my heart was commanding me.
When he turned around, I kissed him.
Sparks shot around us, a magnetic feeling surrounded me, and I felt whole. I placed my arms around his neck, and he placed his hands on my waist, drawing me close.
We broke away panting, and when I realized what I'd done, I immediately backed up.
"Camila."He says and then grabs me and kisses me passionately.
