Sunoo happily smiled as he opened the appartment door in front of him, also on the seventh floor.

"Are you ready?" he excitedly questioned as the door only opened on a crack.

"I'm nervous," I quietly muttered, "I feel like I'm doing something illegal."

Shortly after having found each other on the wall Sunoo had insisted we rushed up and got me inside in case the Stasi officers would come and deport people back to the East again.

"Let's just get you inside fast as possible," he insisted and softly grabbed my hand before tugging me along with him and into a front hall.

"How many do you live here?" I questioned in shock as I saw the variety of jackets and shoes standing in front of me.

"Only dad and I... oh yeah and Seojun," he smiled before letting out a small laugh at how I looked at the amount of shoes on the ground, "what?"

"Nothing..." I muttered before slipping out of my boots and turning to Sunoo with an expectant look.

He simply smiled warmly at me before grabbing my bag and swinging it over his own shoulder before nodding for me to follow him. I quickly grabbed his hand in both of mine as I hesitantly followed, causing him to let out a small laugh.

"Did you find her Sunoo?" a voice called out and I immediately flinched over behind Sunoo. For some reason I felt extremely scared of the situation I was in.

"I did," Sunoo hummed in return, glancing over his shoulder to look at me, "but I think she's still in a bit of shock."

"Get her to bed then. I'll meet her at breakfast tomorrow, I'll go out and get morning bread," his dad called back making me softly smile as Sunoo glanced over at me with a reassuring smile and squeezed my hand.

"Let's get you off to bed," he muttered and tugged me along to a room, which I had only seen one part of.

I wasn't aware that Sunoo's bed stood to the right of his desk, or how he had a closet standing to the left of his door. Let alone didn't I know about his bookshelf that filled the whole side of the wall to the right of the door.

"You have so many books," I murmured in shock and rushed over to look over the titles adorning his bookshelf, a small laugh escaping Sunoo before I could feel a pair of arms around my waist and a chin on my shoulder.

"Pick any you'd like... we can read together," Sunoo spoke and I looked over at him with a small smile, "I have a book I'm already reading... we could do small reading dates until you feel comfortable enough to go outside again."

"What's this?" I questioned and pulled down a light blue book.

"The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," Sunoo happily recited, "you don't know it? It's one of my favorites, about a magical land inside a closet... Narnia."

"We didn't have... no," I shook my head, "I like it."

"You haven't even read it," Sunoo laughed as I clutched the book tightly in my hands.

"Well... what you said already enchanted me in the book," I excused and he let out a small laugh before letting go of my waist and grabbing the book from my grip, carefully placing it on his desk.

"I'll find you some clothes of mine you can sleep in and then we'll go to sleep, I suppose you feel a bit tired," he pointed out and I just nodded before rubbing my eye with the palm of my hand.

Sunoo let out another small laugh at me before rushing over to his closet and opening the doors meanwhile I was enchanted by some posters hanging on his wall.

"Who's this?" I questioned as I looked at a poster with four men on.

One of the men had somewhat dirty blonde hair, another looked like his hair was extremely frizzy, kind of like Einstein. A third had wild black curls and a long nose and the last one has brushed back black hair and a face composition I couldn't quite detect.

"Queen," Sunoo calmly replied, "my favorite band... I'll show you their music tomorrow. I have so much of it... and here," he happily spoke as he handed me a pair of soft plaid pants and a big black shirt, "are you alright?"

"I can't adjust to this," I murmured and slumped down on his bed, a sudden wave of hopelessness washing over me, "I don't know anything... it's like getting born all over again."

"Hey, you know what?" he softly questioned and sat down beside me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders while I only glanced at him, "it's alright you feel hopeless about learning new things all of a sudden... but just... remember I'm here to help you learn everything you need to learn. We'll also watch Seinfeld together one day... I'll help you learn everything you need to adjust to the West properly."

"You mean that?" I questioned and he held up his pinky, to which I only stared at it.

"If we make it a pinky promise that means I can never break it, without you being allowed to chop my pinky off. So if you want to make the promise you need to link your pinky with mine," Sunoo explained  and I just frowned up at him.

"I'm not gonna chop your finger off," I commented and he let out a small laugh.

"You don't literally do it, it's just a saying about the pinky promise," he pointed out, "you won't have to chop my pinky off. Just link your pinky with mine and then I have given you a promise that I can't break."

"Won't I have to give you a promise in return then?" I questioned and he smiled softly.

"Usually no, but if you want to make a promise to me in return... then promise me to sleep by my side tonight," he spoke and I just nodded before linking my pinky with his, "now get changed and I'll go out to brush my teeth. We don't have any extra toothbrushes you can use, so I'll go and get one for you as the first thing after breakfast tomorrow."

"Thank you," I whispered as he stood up and smiled down at me.

"It is nothing," he assured and patted my head softly.

I watched Sunoo leave the room before I quietly got changed into the pajamas he had offered me. Once I had changed I sat down on the bed without a problem and just waited.

"I couldn't help it, okay?" Sunoo let out a small laugh as he walked back into the bedroom, now also in his pajamas and Seojun sitting on his arm.

"Oh my, he grew so much," I cooed in shock and subconsiously extended my hands to take him into my arms, "does he even fit the jacket anymore?" I questioned in awe as Sunoo happily passed him onto me.

"It was a bit too big for him at first, and still is... I think he can use it this winter and then he'll be too big," Sunoo hummed as he sat down beside me.

My eyes was too focused on Seojun who had one fist in his mouth while the other reached out and grabbed a lock of my hair.

"I thought you should see he was alright, since it's been a while since you last saw him," Sunoo excused while I just smiled at the small boy in my arms, "dad says we're gonna raise him as if he's my brother... but I think... I think he should be raised as your brother so he knows where he came from... I don't want him to think he's always been from the West, he should know about the people who sacrificed themselves to ensure he could have a good life here in the West."

"They haven't been here in search for him, has he?" I questioned and Sunoo quietly shook his head.

"I don't think they could care less about a small baby," he pointed out, to which I quietly hummed, "we should sleep Lin..."

"Yeah," I murmured and handed Seojun back to Sunoo, who happily took him and went to put him back where he got him from.
