No. 5 - I'VE GOT RED IN MY LEDGER

It's been about 3 months since Keith left on a mission with the blades and the princess knew this would happen. Keith was meant to come back to the castle and relay the information from the mission but it's been a few weeks since there supposed return. The princess calls the paladins into the main control room. None of them where really sure why the princess looked so angry until she started to talk.

Allura- I'm sure you are all wondering why I've called you here. Keith is a traitor and will no longer be considered a paladin of Voltron.

Shiro- Woah princess what are you talking about ? Keith Is on a mission with the blades.

Allura- Yes and he was supposed to return over a week ago which means he must be working with the galra.

Lance- What if he was captured, we should call Kolivan to see what happened on that mission.

Princess allura reluctantly called Kolivan and he explained that Keith never made it to the rendezvous point. He did not believe however that Keith was a traitor. The princess was still unconvinced but allowed the paladins to search in there spare time.

Keith on the other hand was not having such a great time. Not only was he being tortured by the galra it was being done by a member of the blades. How could Thace be a traitor, how could he be doing this to Keith. He couldn't dwell on the fact for long before Thace was injecting a green liquid into him. His head started to throb and his mind was running at speeds that seemed impossible.

He had to find away out, find away to tell Kolivan that one of his most trusted blades is a traitor. But how ... ? The first few weeks he had no success in getting free and thace was coming in at least 4 times a day to inject him with the green liquid. He should really ask Coran what that stuff was when he gets out of here. Speaking of Coran his mind starts to wonder, where are the paladins. Why haven't they came for him yet ? He didn't know and although he was hurt he couldn't focus on that right now, he'd deal with that later.

This was his chance Thace had just left after his everyday torture session that included shocks from the druids and injecting him with the green liquid. The room would be empty for at least half an hour so he had time to get out. He made it to a small galra fighter and headed back to the castle.

Allura- Keith you should leave ...

Shiro- Princess give him a chance to explain. Keith what happened to you ?

Keith- Th... Thace is a traitor, he ... he captured me and ... and he used the druids to ... to shock me. Th... then he injected me ... with some green liquid more and ... and more every... everyday. I .. I have to .. to tell Kolivan...

Shiro- Ok don't worry, we will inform Kolivan but we need to get you into a pod ok ?

Keith- O.. ok

Coran set Keith up in a pod and when the screen popped up he knew exactly what the green liquid was. The others must have noticed his face frown even more ...

Shiro- What is it Coran ?

Coran- The green liquid Keith mentioned, it's a galra drug. It's highly addictive to galra even a small amount can get them hooked.

Shiro- What does that mean for Keith, Coran?

Coran- It means that when Keith exists the pod he will be going through withdrawals.

Shiro- Ok , that's nothing we can't deal with. I will inform Kolivan about Thace. Let me know if anything changes with Keith.

Coran- Of course number 1.
