Keith and Regris had been on a duo mission when the shots were fired. They where running back to the Rendezvous point when suddenly there was a loud thud behind Keith. He turned around to see Regris laying on the floor. From what Keith could tell he was shot in the chest and the leg.
Regris- G.. go Keith.... you won't .... m.. make it back if ... you take .. me w..with you ...
Keith- I'm not leaving you behind
Regris- K... Keith.. p.. please
Keith- NO ! I'm not leaving without you
Keith threw Regris onto his back and just barely managed to get the both of them aboard the blade ship they came in.
Once Keith and Regris made it back to the blades of marmora base Keith carried Regris to the med bay. Kolivan came rushing in threw the doors and carried Keith out of the room.
Neither Keith nor Regris would ever admit that they loved each other, they did. Keith started to cry trying to push his way back into the med bay with little luck. Kolivan soon realised that the only way to calm the boy was to call the paladins.
By the time the paladins arrived at the blades base Keith was crying and screaming in Kolivan's hold. Shiro was the first to take the crying boy from Kolivan.
Shiro- It's ok Keith, Regris Is strong I'm sure he's ganna be just fine.
Keith- N... no you didn't see it Shiro! You don't know that ok !
Shiro- Shh shh, just breath buddy everything will work itself out.
Keith- I ... I can't ...
Shiro- I know Regris is your friend but you have to stop crying and breath ok ..?
Keith- N.. no h.. he's more ... he's more than that !
Shiro- Shh shh , how so ?
Keith- I ... I love him .... I love him Shiro....
Keith is full on sobbing now and Shiro's grip on him tightens. Shiro wishes he could promise everything would be ok but he can't. He just wishes there was something more he could do to comfort the boy but so far nothing I'd working. Keith eventually cry's himself to sleep in Shiro's arms. The last few tears fall down his cheeks as his breathing evens out.
