Elizebeth left the money behind, seeing the children fight for it. Elizabeth was done with paying them. Those kids always wanted the money, dispite them all getting high education they never deserved, and now beg for more and more.
Elizabeth always got tired of these antics. When their dad died all of the old possessions were never kept. Elizabeth got rid of most and the children would always complain.
"You sold the black pearls"
"Why get rid of the fine wine?"
Elizabeth was always tired of their complaing, it was stuff that their dad gave, and never said to give away any more. It belonged to Elizabeth, not them. The worst of them was Auntie Katelyn, she always begged for newer items, such as Elizabeth's fresh cotton that was for sewwing, or the new grape trees put in the gardens of mejer as a gift, instead of in Katelyns private yard.
Soon Elizabeth sent invites to all of the daughters to come over for dinner, and this was the trick to see who would get all of the possessions.
Auntie Daliah came with her husband and three daughters, just like Elizabeth did. She had each if the daughters do a small play, but Elizabeth saw how they looked fake, and the children left afterwards to get away from their mother.
Auntie Katelyn came showing off her one son, trying to keep the family name, but failed to acknowledge that Elizabeth never had a son. Her son always complimented Elizabeth, even saying being gendervoid was valid, as if it was fake.
Both of them failed and Auntie Jenna came soon, with a immigrant husband, as well as a mixed kid with a smile. Yet this didn't stop Elizabeth from not giving it, as she did slight manipulation. Just to make sure she could get the stuff. The wedding was a week ago, clearly showing it was a marriage for things.
None of them got the stuff, because it was Elizabeth's, not theirs. The children were just a toy, or even a husband. Elizabeth then forced them out and sold the house the day after, with all the items and pearls and cotton and yarns. All of it to a rich young man hoping to move out.
