His Tragic Magic- That Name..Those Eyes..The Rage!

I just finished cleaning the house when I heard the front door open and Malachai run down the steps yelling "Daddy!" I to made my way down the stairs to greet my fiancé and his friends.

"And this is my beautiful fiancée, Rayne" Monte introduced me while holding Malachai. I looked up and could have fainted when I met a pair of familiar eyes.

"Craig??" I questioned smiling like an idiot

"Rayne! Holy shit, I haven't seen you since high school! You look so different!" he smiled hugging me tightly

"Wait? You guys already know each other?" Monte asked

"Yeah, we went to high school together" I said

"Monte, you better be careful with her she's a little wild one" Craig joked. Which I don't think Monte appreciated very much.

"I am so calling you that from now on!" teased Max

"Call Rayne what?" Kirstin asked walking down the steps

"We are all going to call Rayne 'Wild One' now!" Max laughed.

Now when Kirstin walked into the scene I noticed Craig had a hard time who he wanted to stare at more. Me or Kirstin. Here's a little secret I dated Craig in high school, but it was a looong time ago! Now I'm engaged to Monte and we have a son and I couldn't be happier.

"Hey?! Hellooo! Earth to Rayne!!" shouted Robert. I snapped out of my thoughts to see everyone looking at me with concerned looks.

"What?" I asked

"We're heading outside to the patio. Wanna join us?" Monte asked

"Yeah, sure" I said following them out the door. I was sitting next to Craig when he turned and faced me smiling.

"So how've you been?" he asked

"Good, looking after Malachai and Monte. The boys too" I laughed

"Very true. Malachai is such a beautiful child, Rayne. He looks just like you"

"Really? I think he looks more like Monte" I said I began to study my son's features. Malachai definitely had his father's skin tone and nose. But I guess you could see glimpses of me in my little future rock star.

"I can see both of you in him, but Malachai definitely looks like his beautiful mother." Oh no! Oh no! These feelings can't come back! Not now!

"Uhm, will you excuse me for a second?" I excused myself and walked into the kitchen. Ohh why did I have to date Craig in high school and be a foolish teenage girl in love? Rayne, you're getting married don't let old feelings get the best of you. You can pull through this champ!

Kirstin burst through the door smiling like she just hit the jackpot. I turned around and looked at her with a weird look.

"Craig just asked me out!" she squealed. For some reason when she said that I saw red and was filled with jealousy. I bit my tongue and smiled at her.

"That's good news" I smiled "I'm happy for you."
