"This damn cold" You mutter to yourself.
It was in the middle of winter, a thin layer of snow lays upon the cold sidewalk. You cross your arms and try to burry your face into your scarf. You were just on your way back from work, the moon lit up the dark sky as tiny snowflakes fell from the sky. Everything was peacefully quiet and still, a thin dusting on snow now over the road.
As you lay eyes on your apartment at the end of the street you hear men fighting in the alley way you were about to walk by. Right as you begin ps pass the alley, trying to ignore the comotion a large wave of heat passes you and a blue glow brightens the alley for a moment. In surprise you look directly into the now dark alley. You squint you eyes and see a man, he had a long black trench coat and spiky hair. He turned his head and glared at you, a calm but cold intense look. You stiffen up and quickly resume your walk at a faster pace. Behind you you heard the slight sound of snow crunching. He was following you.
You feel you your hart race in your chest and your breath quicken. You try to stay calm as you are at the steps of your building. You glance behind your self to see the man walk into a run down bar that has been closed for years. trying to ignore your curiosity you turn back to your building.
'Damnit Y/n don't be stupid'
Sighing, you turn back to the direction of the bar. You trudge over to the bar, trying to be as silent as possible as you mentally scold yourself for stupidity.
You reach the bar and see a small 'open' sign in the slightly dirty window. The lights were on and there was some people inside at the bar. 'Did this place open back up or something?' You decided to go in. The door creaked as it opened and a small bell rings. Everyone seated at the bar, as well as the bar tender looks at you. You don't freeze up, which was a surprise to you. "Who are you with?" The Bar tender asks. His voice was mysterious and slightly frightening to you. "Umm, I'm with..um," "Me." You turn your head to the stair at the opposite side of the bar.
There he was, the man from the alley. With the normal lighting you coud see that he was covered in scars, staples on his face and wrists. His eyes were a bright, crystal-like blue. His voice was raspy and his expression seemed cold and serious, yet calm.
The bar tender nods as the man sits down. "So Dabi, who is this?" A girl with blonde hair asks, looking intently at you. 'So, his name is Dabi..'
"Someone I need to talk to."
"Alone?~"
Dabi shoots the girl a cold glare and she just shrugs in responce. "Alright alright I'm gone." The girl walks out along with another man that was seated at the bar. "Sit." Dabi tells you. You do so trying not to look at him. The bar stools were a bit high so you stand on the metal bar so you can seat yourself. The bar tender slides Dabi a drink. He takes a sip of it, his gaze set on you. "So. You saw huh?" You assumed he was speaking of the incident in the alley. "Um, well, yeah." You keep your gaze focusing on the grain of the wood on the bar top. "Are you gonna tell anyone." You shake your head. You now recognize the name Dabi from the news. Hew was a villain, one for the cause on some attacks on UA High.
He nods and takes another sip of his drink. "What's your name?" You seem a bit caught off guard by his sudden question. Once again, you are left silent. Giving a villain your name is not the smartest thing to do. "You know my name, It's only fair." His gaze fixated upon you once more.
You sigh deeply and look at him. "Y/n, Y/n L/n." He nods, grinning a bit as you turn your head back away from him. "How old are you?" "Too old to be this stupid." You comment quietly. He chuckles a bit and rests his arms crossed on the bar top. "21." You sigh, knowing he probably would not give it up till you gave an answer. He nods and stands up, going behind the bar. Just now you realized the bar tender was gone, you never hear him leave, almost as if he vanished into thin air.
"So Y/n L/n, want a drink?"
