A New Pet

"I'm going to go crazy."

You chuckle as you watch your new bird sit atop Dabi's head. It was a grey parrot, you've had a one before and they made a good pet.

"He just likes you, that's all." You smile, holding out your hand for your bird to hop on it.

"Mhm." He just nods. You take a seat next to him and pet your bird.

"Hi." The bird tweeted.

"Aww, look he learned a word," You smile, looking over at Dabi.

"So he can talk." He says, looking at the creature.

"Yup. I'm going to get something to eat, wanna come with?" He nods, getting up from the couch you both sat at. You have your bird stay on your shoulder as you walk to the bar. Seated at the bar was Shigaraki and Toga.

When your bird notices shigaraki he spreads his wings and hisses at him.

"Heh, good bird." Dabi mumbles, grinning to himself as you calm your bird down. Toga calls you over to see your new pet and her eyes sparkle at it.

"It's so adorable Y/n!" She says petting the birds head as you giggle at her happiness.

"Yeah...so adorable." Shigaraki says sarcastically, causing the bird to his at him again. Before your bird decides to bite him you walk over to dabi, who is currently preparing some food. Your bird climbs from your shoulder onto Dabi's and tweets 'hello' again.

"Why does this bird always decide to climb on me." He sighs heavily, petting the birds head once.

You shrug. "Probably because your warm, or he just likes you." He nods for a responce and hands you a bowl of soup.

"Oh, thank you." You smile, the bird now attempting to eat Dabi's hair.

"The next soup I'm making is going to have grey parrot." Your parrot caws at him, sounding offended. You chuckle and take your bird off of his shoulder.

"Don't listen to him bud, he'll have to fight me for you." The bird rubs his head against your cheek and settles down on your shoulder. Dabi just shakes his head and takes his own bowl of soup. You two head back into your own room, Toga saying goodbye to the new bird.

"Toga seems to like him." You comment, closing the door behind you.

"Mhm, she sure seems to." He sits back on the bed and starts to eat. You take your bird off your shoulder and set him on top of his cage, which he happily does and climbs down the bars to his food dish to eat.

"So, we never decided on a set name for him." You say, nuzzling up to Dabi before eating.

"Yeah. . . How about, falcon." You chuckle and nod.

"I actually like that. What do you think?" Your bird caws and bobs his head.

"Well, he seems to like the name, falcon it is."

Dabi smiles a bit and nods.

"So, he's not going to caw all night is he?"

You shake your head. "No he won't, I'll put the cover over his cage and he'll go to sleep."

"Good." He nods.

"Also, watch your language around our son, I don't want him to learn the words you say."

Dabi just shakes his head and chuckles. "We'll see."

You shake your head and resume eating your soup. You just hope Dabi won't teach the bird any swear words in the future.

I had some free time today so I figured I'd update this^^

I recently got a grey parrot, so that's what inspired this, his name is also Falcon. I find it hilarious that whenever I watch My Hero he actually hisses at Shigaraki XD
