Hot-Wings pt.2

  The knocking was loud and repetative. The man with the bright red wings I knew as the pro hero Hawks went to open the door. Before he did the man with the scars pulls me into another room. "W-what are you-" He cuts me off by covering my mouth with his hand, and with his other signaling to keep quiet. I hear Hawks and the man who was chasing me talking, the man spoke loud and harsh as Hawks spoke calmly. I couldn't understand what they were saying, Eventually the talking stopped and the man with the scars let me out of the room. "You ok kid?" Hawks asks. "Y-yes." I say, bowing slightly. "Good, and that guy that was chasing you, no need to worry about him." He says smirking at the wall to ceiling windows at the end of the room. I saw red and blue flashing lights outside. "Who, was the guy chasing me?" "A villain, he's one that the cops have been looking for, for a week now." I nod, looking out the window. I notice the guy with the scars just back to sitting on the couch, looking blank. "Hey kid." I turn my attention back to Hawks with a slight head tilt. "Yes sir?" "Please, just call me Hawks." I nod and smile. "So, wanna join us for dinner?" He asks , sitting on the couch with the bag of food. "No, no. I couldn't possibly impose more that I already have." I say walking toward the door to leave. "Come on, just for a while?" Hawks asked, tilting his head and looking at me. The man with the scars was also looking at me with a calmer expression.  I look down and at the door knob then back at the two men. "I mean, I'm kinda off my shift." I say quietly, smiling. "Great! Come on over." I giggle and walk over to the coffee table with the men. "I'm  Hawks as I said, and this is Dabi." He says, nudging the other mans arm. "I'm Y/n L/n." I smile. "Well nice to meet you L/n." Hawks smiles opening his order of chicken. Dabi look over at Hawks and glares at him. "Seriously.." Hawks just chuckles and nods. Hawks offered me some of his chicken and we all had a nice meal together. 

Tonight, wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
