Dabi x Reader one shots

Changes

          It was later at night and you were just getting home from work to see your boyfriend Dabi.

"Dabi baby I'm back." You coo walking in the door, but no response. You take your shoes and jacket off before going down the hall to change into more comfortable clothes. Before you reached the bedroom you saw the bathroom light on and the door open. 

'There he is.' You peak around the door and smile.

"Hey baby." You pause and widen your eyes. 

"Are you ok? What happened?" You question nervously. Dabi was at the sink, his chest had blood on it and you saw some silver staples with a little blood on them next to the sink.

"Well baby, don't you have perfect timing." He winced as he put a staple at the edge of his scared skin, replacing the previous one, but this once wasn't silver, but instead gold.

"And nothing happened, I'm fine. I'm just, getting upgrades." He picks up a gold staple and shows you. 

"God you gave me a hart attack." You sigh in relief before giving him a confused look.

"Why do the other ones need to be replaced, and why gold?"

"Well simple, gold cools down quicker than other metals, and it tarnishes less." He then adds another gold staple to his chest.

"Plus, no oxidation." He adds, taking out another staple, now from his wrist. 

"Does it hurt a lot?" You sigh, thinking of how stupid that question was.

"No, not really." He answers calmly. You were surprised, you figured it would be excruciating to take staples out of your skin just to put more it. He could just be saying that so you don't feel worried. 

"Can I help with anything?" You ask him. 

He starts taking out the silver staples from his wrist and looks around the counter surface.

"Can you get me a washcloth?" You nod and go into the little closet near the bathroom since there were none left in the bathroom. You grab a new washcloth and bring it in the bathroom, running it under some water then ringing it our so it's only damp. 

"Thanks love." He kisses your forehead as he takes the washcloth and blots blood away from his wrist before putting the new gold staples it. 

"Hey Dabi?" He nods for you to go on.

"Where did you get the money for these staples? Their real gold right?" 

You see a small smirk on his face before he puts another staple in, replacing the ones on his wrist. 

"Let's just say a number one hero's bank account should be more secure." He winks. You hold back laughter as you shake your head at him, but also look proud. 

"I'm going to need your help with one more thing baby." He tells you, slipping his shirt off.

"Do you mind helping my with my back?" 

"I don't know, I'd feel like I'm hurting you." You tell him, unsure about it.

"Baby you won't be hurting me, it'll feel like nothing." He gives you a smile and you sigh.

"Alright, tell me how to do it." He smiles again as you stand closer behind him.

"Just, take it out. Like taking out a splinter, just careful of the bent parts." 

You nod, convincing yourself it won't hurt him and start taking out the first one.

"Fucking hell." He winces and you quickly take your hand away.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I knew I shouldn't do this." Then, he starts laughing.

"We're you messing with me?!" He turns around still laughing and hugs you.

"I'm sorry, the temptation was too strong." He let's you go and you glare at him.

"You are such an ass." He chuckles again before turning around.

"I'm sorry, but for real this time." You take a moment before trying again. As you take the first staple out you notice his shoulders tense.

"First one done." You place the silver staple next to the others and Dabi hands you a gold one to replace it. 

After a while you replaced all the old staples on his back and helped him with his others. 

"This is going to take some getting used to." He says, looking at the new gold staples near his scars in the mirror. 

"I think they look pretty." You smile up at him. 

"You'd think I looked pretty if my whole body was scars." He says, ruffling your hair.

"Mhm, you're just born pretty." You kiss him before walking out.

"I'm going to get some sleep, let me know if you need anymore help." You yawn, heading to the bed room. 

You hear his follow you and hug you from behind. 

"I'm beat too, let's get some sleep." He kisses your shoulder as you two walk into the bedroom.

"Dabi?" You ask, turning the light on.

"Yes love?"

"I love you." He smiles, kissing your head.

"I love you too Y/n."

  Mind any spelling mistakes, I'm currently running on 1 hour of sleep and beef jerky so, I'm not up to par with grammar XD
