A/N:

Jesper practices his shooting skills and Wylan watches (flirting is involved lmao)

Wylan winced as Jesper fired off another shot.  This one piercing right through the middle of one of the many leaves on a branch Jesper stuck into the ground.

"Man," groaned Jesper.  "I was supposed to his the stem so it would fall off."

Wylan scoffed.  "Jesper you did great!  You hit the leaf dead center."  He reasoned, looking at the menacing distance between them and the branch Jesper impaled in the ground.

Jesper huffed and reloaded his revolver.  He was trying singular shooting.  Not Dual.

"I'm trying to shoot them off the branch, not in the middle.  I'm not leaving until all those leaves are gone."  He stated.

Wylan sighed exasperatedly as his boyfriend fired off two more shots and let out a frustrated grunt.

"Jesper trust me you don't need to do any practice.  Your skills are already extremely impressive."  Wylan tried to explain.

Jesper flashed Wylan a grin.  "Good to hear you're impressed, merchling."  He teased.

"I thought we were past that nickname,"  grumbled Wylan.

"Never."

Another round of shots.

"Honestly Jesper, practice isn't necessary for you.  Your shooting skills are already top-notch." Wylan said.

Jesper smirked with a wink.  "My skills in bed are top-notch too."

Wylan coughed and glowed a bright red.  Seriously, if Wylan was going to give him such chances for jokes Jesper was one hundred percent going to take them.

"Just hurry up."  The redhead muttered and walked off, leaving Jesper to his own dirty mind.

The Zemeni Sharpshooter gazed down at his pearl revolver.  He sighed as he slung it back in its holster with the other.

"Ah, Saints."  Jesper huffed and walked off towards the branch in the ground to see how many leaves he actually knocked off.

Just more than half, Jesper noticed when he approached.  They'd only been here for at least thirty minutes. And there had to be more than eighty leaves on the branch.

Jesper shoved his hands in his pockets and began walking back to catch up with Wylan.

Maybe he should have a bit more confidence in his skills.

Jesper chuckled.  Who was he kidding?

He was Jesper Fahey.  The best Sharpshooter in all of Kerch.  Kaz Brekker, the Bastard of the Barrel, chose him to be his second-hand man after all.

A/N:

I literally made this on the bus coming home from classes and it's not half-bad.  Wesper flirting is my favorite, haha.
