As for the next time an update is to occur—
Well.. Ima still in a very similar situation as last time, and I still don't know what time I'll be releasing the next chapter but anyway besides the point I've brought to you a low key kinda late Christmas present from me to y'all-
So like enjoy this chapter!
Enjoy :)

Izuna watched, more like glares as Hashirama exits the room with his little pout cloud. After the door slid shut, there was a few beats of silence that followed. The both remained quiet.

He hasn't had a moment alone with his brother since the incident.. Until now. He'd felt so relieved just knowing his brother had actually been alive.. especially when he'd been told by everyone in their clan that he should begin to lead the clan on his own without his elder brother.. Some other things had happened but he didn't care right now.

Now he was with his brother. His brother that supposedly has forgotten everything about.. well everything. Izuna had unfortunately, spoken with Tobirama about what had happened to Madara, and apparently his brother had no idea what chakra was let alone that he and the clan are in a war against the people that supposedly 'nursed' him back to proper health.

Upon finally looking up, at first glance he's noticed that Madara did indeed look a lot better now, maybe even better than before they went to battle that morning, but he wouldn't admit that.

Madara's eyes remained their charcoal color except they weren't. They were dimmer than that night before the battle. Izuna clinched his teeth at the sight. This dimness was a show of their eyes losing sight. Madara had usually always avoided eye contact with him because of this reason. Izuna  hated when his brother did these things.. Though it seemed it always happened. Some times he could tell when his brother was hiding something and some times not.

Madara's eyebrows looked almost relaxed they only furrowed a little as he was probably in thought. That was a little closer to normal he supposed, but the 'normal' he was used to was Madara hiding away those expressions away. To actually be able to see his brothers facial expressions was.. well to say the least it was strange. Beyond strange. Who was he kidding, this whole situation was.. not what he wanted.

Izuna stared at the blanket that covered his brother. He didn't want to look at him anymore.. He didn't like seeing someone he didn't know.

After another long moment of silence that he could feel was starting to get tense, he supposed he should say something. Just rip the bandaid off, less painful that way right?

A breath from Izuna before he finally speaks.

"..You do remember me.. right?" He spoke trying his best to hide his hesitation. He remained as monotone as he could to hide what he truly felt. This is what most the Uchiha knew best after all.

Again a moment where his brothers eyes met his, something flashed in his brothers eyes, an emotion maybe however it was gone too fast for him to try and read. Before Madara's gaze returned to his hands that were clenched together. An anxious tenseness overcame his whole body in that instance. Anxiously awaiting the response he desperately hoped he would hear.  However life, time and time again had chosen this moment to make it's unfair ways, far too apparent.

He hopelessly watched as his elder brother shook his head. Those unruly locks that seemed to become more and more of a mess every time he saw them, fell in front of his face preventing Izuna from seeing his expression.
