Darkness had just started to take over the land. As it would seem, it should be a fine time to get much needed rest. But no, these Shinobi are too ecstatic for sleep, as can be said from the all shouts coming from several men.
The sound of men cheering and hollering could be heard from the Senju's as they had traveled back to their base like set up.
The victory had given them a motivation, even more so that the apparent war god Madara Uchiha was finally defeated in battle.
Unfortunately for the Uchiha's, they had lost a great leader, and said leadership would probably be given to Izuna Uchiha. Though it hadn't seemed that Izuna wanted to become leader yet, and instead wanting to spend time searching for his brother. Which is what is said to be happening from Senju look out scouts, they had been keeping an eye on the other clan since their great loss.
Though no Senju really thought about that. No, most were celebrating their victory, but there was one Senju that simply watched the night sky debating on what move he should make. The man happened to be leader of the Senju's, Hashirama Senju.
Said man was plopped down on a rock that looked good enough to lay on. His eyes were cast to the now almost fully darkened sky. But the sky was not on his mind. This recent victory was.
Not that it was a bad thing but, it wasn't good either. With Madara gone, there was a lot of things to come of it. Izuna's rage for having taken his brother down, and that's bound to have lots of casualties.. There were many more reasons but Hashirama didn't really wanted to think about them.
The troubled Senju gave out a distressed sigh as he closed his eyes. Only to get flicked in the nose, to which made them fling open. Hashirama was now found siting up and covering his poor nose, while looking around for the cause of his new problem.
His chocolate colored eyes soon landed on his brother, as he went to speak, Hashirama cut him off. "What was that for?!" He whined. This seemed to make Tobirama sigh, "you're too distracted to even notice my presence, that's why." Tobirama answered before continuing, "I know this whole Madara's.. been defeated thing has been bothering you." He paused. "I can also conclude that you're thinking of what will come of 𝘩𝘪𝘴 down fall. Not that I don't like this attitude more, you actually thinking about the repercussions, but it's simply not you." The younger Senju tried to explain only to make the other more confused.
"Just..Be yourself. Do what you do best and don't worry about what will happen, but instead what you're gonna do as of now." The younger brother finally said. Hashirama slowly smiled at his brother that had been trying to cheer him. He gave a nod, "thanks Tobi.." he paused his eyes go wide at a thought that had entered his head. Hashirama stands, "I think I have an idea of what I'll start with doing." He states proudly. "Just please.." Tobirama hadn't been able to finish his sentence before his elder brother was gone, jumping through the trees. "don't..do anything stupid.." he mumbled to no one in particular. Giving out one last sigh, Tobirama made his way back to his mini office, probably to do work.
Meanwhile, that left a certain elder brother of his to do something completely stupid.
As Senju traveled towards his destination he had found many other Uchiha's looking for the same thing. Though they were more spread out and there were more of them compared to just himself.
With a determined huff, he continued his search, narrowing it down to where they hadn't looked yet.
After what seemed like hours of looking through piles and piles of rubble he had eventually found a huge pile of rock and rubble.
This time he could feel that gut feeling of when you're about to find something. After a bit of digging around he had found nothing but rubble and a little cave that was behind the pile.
Just as he was about to move on to the next area, his nose catches the familiar sent of blood. This makes him stop and look around, his only light was that of the full moon that watched him, so he hadn't really seen this before now. There was a patch of pebbles that seemed to be soaked with blood.
Hashirama carefully got in a little closer before starting to dig at the patch, to suddenly have his fingers brush against something warm and wet. In a quick movement he withdrew his hand.
The feeling was familiar to the senju, but just to make sure, his eyes wondered till they gazed at his hand. There, where he had felt the all too familiar feeling, was blood. Fresh blood.
Now feeling a little more rushed than before, he began digging around that central area, he had eventually dug up an arm.
The skin color being a pale tone, though now that the Senju stared for a little, he started to notice it had been paler than usual. After more examinations he noted that the arm was badly scraped and needed tending to.
Soon his gaze shifted to where the body part ends, on the semi exposed forearm Hashirama spots a incredibly ripped up black sleeve.Fortunately it was still attached to the body, thanks to more digging he had found that out, as while as the identity of this injured man. The man he had been looking for as well.
Madara.
Soon the thought occurred to him, is he still alive? There was a sudden sense of panic before he placed two fingers on the underside of the others wrist, and applying a bit of pressure. After waiting for a moment, there was a small pulse against his fingers.
He's.. alive..
He's alive.
The relief that had hit was almost completely unreal to the Senju, though now it was on to the problem of how weak the pulse was. Even if the pulse was there, it doesn't change the fact that the beat of the Uchiha's heart beat was too weak. If Hashirama didn't do something soon then the Uchiha could very well lose his life.
After a little bit more careful digging he was finally able to safely extract the quite seriously injured Uchiha. Then proceeded to lay said male on his back, where there looked to be not as much damage.
From the one look, Hashirama could tell that he'd need days quite a few days to completely heal the other, but he was willing to take the challenge. So if caring for Madara for a couple days would prevent his death then he'd do it.
Madara's battle armor was almost completely destroyed. The armor was cracked, some parts even missing or lost in the rubble, but that wasn't his worry at all. The worry was the wound that covered his body, there seemed to be many more than he had expected. Not even a few seconds later he placed his hands over the Uchiha's worst looking wound before they started to give off a green glow.
As he gave most his concentration to healing Madara, the rest of his brain power was debating his next plan of action. He couldn't just stay there and heal the Uchiha in one go, the other Uchiha's would find this place eventually. So he'd just have to try and close some of the wounds as much as possible, before trying to relocate to another area.
Suddenly as if right on cue, there was voices in the distance, it didn't seem to be that far. "Check over there, I'll check here." The voice said, probably belonging to a Uchiha. Soon Hashirama's concentration was back on the man below him.
He still needed some time to close the worst wound, but he did close the others a bit so he could move. With that said, he ceased his healing and carefully scooped the raven haired male into his arms. Then took off, being extra careful with his new injured party member.
Hashirama could only hope nothing bad would happen when he reached his new destination. The pondered to himself, 'Hopefully 𝘩𝘦 will except this decision...'
