Chapter 19

"This is good and all but why am I here" Arthur asked as he looked down feeling the gazes of an elderly elf woman, and another elder elf. The Elf man was looking at Arthur's direction but Arthur can't sense his stare like he was blind Arthur tried to peek behind his bangs to see his eyes bot to no avail.

"Well that's obvious you're part of this meeting" Virion said nonchalantly  sitting at the very head of the rectangular table.

"You do know that I'm just a kid right, since I'm a kid I can't contribute much in a meeting for adults, I'll be excusing myself for now" Arthur slowly stood up, he doesn't even get a step away when he felt someone pulling him by the hem of his shirt.

"We also need an opinion from humans and since you're the only one here in this kingdom who we trust we'll let you in on this meeting" Rhinia said her innocent smile doesn't match with the laughter in her gaze.

"Elder you wanted me to have a comfortable life right? Why are you dragging me in this, this is not part of the comfortable lifestyle I wanted" Arthur whispered a fake smile showing in his face.

"Don't worry Arthur you'll know of this sooner or later" She winked at me. Arthur then felt hands in his shoulders forcing him to sit down. Arthur sighed in defeat Standing up again to greet Merial and Alduin, with Aya and Alea walking behind them as escorts. "We greet The Queen and King of the Kingdom" The two elven elders bowed along with Rhinia.

Since Arthur is not an elf even with his friendly connections with them he bowed to them much longer. "May the forest's blessings last for eternity, and the rays illuminating the azure sky to look upon the Kingdom of Elenoir."
Arthur said his normal slightly high pitch voice turning to that of a formal voice.

"You may raise you head, some of us here already know each other so please introduce yourself to each other for those who's names and identity still not revealed" Alduin said indicating Arthur to introduce himself to the others.

"I am the former King's First Disciple, Arthur Leywin I am here today as a human judge for this meeting," Ending his words he looked up at them. There was surprise on the faces of everyone except Virion who only smirked in amusement. Arthur doesn't exactly know what he is there for so he just took the safest route and called himself a judge.

" It appears you know of elven culture despite being human" The elven man said his Long silvery-blond hair fell down to his shoulders in disheveled locks, covering his forehead and eyes. Long pointed ears poked out of the hair, indicating he was of elven descent. The two elven elders wore a traditional elven robe.

"I am Siacks Velma one of the elder representatives watching over Asyphin city."

"Camus Selaridon, A retired soldier also  one of the elder representative watching over asyphin" He said with boredom in his voice making Arthur wonder what kind of political power does he have for even the Royals to overlook his personality.

The meeting is more about the alliance between the three Kingdoms. Arthur spoke once in a while if questioned. Arthur had a lot to say in this but decided to keep quiet.

Arthur started thinking, he got a certain look. His gaze went unfocused and his brows furrowed; the subtle crease near his lips and the slight twitch of his nose gave the appearance that he was thinking of something beyond what normal human intelligence would be capable of. It was the look of a true intellectual. And Virion seemed to notice this as he waited for Arthur to lose focus on what he's thinking.

"So Arthur you've been keeping quiet this whole time what's your take between this alliance" Virion asked making Arthur focus back on what they had been discussing, Arthur cleared his throat giving a glance to Rhinia who nodded at him in response.
