*Reynolds POV

“Ah shit, did I do that?” I saw the elven lance landing on the floor, nearing death's door. Oh no, Arthur cares about her, right?

Maybe I should hide her body in the Beast Glades, creating a teleportation gate I threw her in. Now what to do with her blood, her blood is splattered from the place she was once impaled. And a big puddle of her blood was at my feet.

Arthur might get depressed if he saw the bloody scene, he's still a child, yet he has been killing humans. He must be used to seeing these scenes, right? Abyss, he doesn't even act like one. Let's just pretend we never saw the lance.

As If I could forget that.

Ah shit, jumping to the gate, I looked down at the elven Lance's paling face and immediately did my best to heal her. Dammit, after all the places I could have pierced it had to be her heart.

It's not my fault, I'm not used to having human expressions. Probably the reason I look stupid every time I did something not usually done by daemons. Alice will kill me for sure this time.

Taking out some healing potions, I started to pour it all over her. Wait, is this even consumable? It'll possibly taste a little bitter, but she'll most likely live. I started to chug the healing potion down her throat. Making her cough some of it out, fortunately her pale skin that obviously lost most of its blood started to return to her normal skin color, making me sigh in relief.

Looking at her body I can't heal her leg or even revive her baby. At least she survived and had more time to create more babies right?

Spreading my mana in my surroundings, I was met with the sight of Daniel, my sons' companion, who was riding a wyvern about an hour away from where we are. I released a breath of annoyance.

As I knocked in his head, mana use. I can feel him jolt, but I only gave him a direction of where this girl is supposed to be. He seems to be hesitant in following his supposed instincts, but in the short distance I can already feel the rapid flapping of the wyverns wings.

I looked down at the woman again and cut off her tag where her name is written. This might be enough to prove that she's gone.

In a matter of time, Daniel will report about her existence to Arthur, but since this girl is too crippled, they may not realise who she is. This woman will have to lose her memories about what happened, as I wandered around in her brain. Throwing out pieces of images that are connected to me.

Walking back to the teleportation gate, I dispersed it. The lance better live, though I wouldn't say the same thing to her child.

I walked to where Arthur is.

He was unconscious, his small horns made me smile slightly. He looked exactly like my father even more so than me. If I hadn't seen Arthur being pushed out of Alice, I would have mistaken him as my brother.

Rubbing the bridge of my nose, I looked around me once again, this metallic stench is nostalgic. Making me remember how I used to toy around with kezess.

Kneeling, I picked up Arthur's body and pushed him to the wall near the bloody corpse of the bastard. I want to avoid taking responsibility for killing that retainer, so I'll have to leave it to Arthur. Taking out his sword that was pierced in a snarlers body, I placed It in his hand and rubbed my chin.

Does this look more like he did it? He was able to weaken the bastard before I came in, so if he didn't faint then, he can kill it instantly.

Ahh! The horns, I almost forgot to hide them. Taking out a coin relic from my ring. I placed it in his hand as a purple translucent aether seaped out from his chest, it observed the relic before absorbing it and hiding underneath his skin. Not much to completely hide his demonic aura but still enough to hide his horns.
