*Arthur's POV

I start school a lot earlier than expected. The medics said that I'll fully heal in a a month time. But was surprised that my body has healed thanks to my assimilation with Sylvie and my hidden core stage. After my mom threw away the blue wristband artifact that I used. She made me wear the other artifact. Which hides my whole core stage.

My only problem now is the limp.

I still had trouble with walking. Since I strained my legs too much after knowing that Tessia had fainted and had a heart attack. I run ignoring my injuries once again putting me in so much strain.

I used Dawn’s Ballad as a walking stick. Elijah had wrapped the handle and sheath in a white bandage, for comfort as well as protection against suspicious eyes. Mostly from Lucas’s eyes.

But before I go and teach my class. Cynthia called for me to show me the room we talked about despite what she told me that she will be gone from school for a few days. She somehow knew I skipped my first class.

"Today is your first day of teaching, did you have enough time to prepare some materials?" Cynthia asked.

"Probably not, but I'll be able to work things out" I shrugged as we followed Gideon. To my training room. Cynthia called out to Gideon to build some training artifacts for me. But he did far more than that as he said that now I owe him.

"How's tess doing in her assimilation. Any problems?" I asked my eyes glancing to hers as she smirked at me innocently. "You can always see her yourself if you're that worried about her"

"I'm still not ready, I haven't prepared things to ask her out normally" I sighed and this is the truth. After she kissed me I tried so hard to avoid her with the limp. I had I didn't get that far away. Everytime I look at her face I always forget about the words I had planned to say.

"Just be you, she would surely like it. As long as it is from you. Anyways her assimilation has been going smoothly with her grandfather Virion who has been using gate every time."

"All right enough let's get this show on the road." Gideon said enthusiastically as he shooed away the guy who has been leading us.

"I didn't think you'd be so enthusiastic about this professor Gideon, considering how much you complain about wasting your valuable time" Cynthia grinned amusingly at him not minding the fact that he's disrespecting her.

"I've made a bit of a game to try and dumbfound this cheeky little brat and I think this will just do it" Gideon said a vein pulsating from his forehead while I only frowned at him before having an eye contact with Cynthia who merely shrugged.

"I merely asked for some sturdy artifact to serve as training aid for Arthur." she then stared at me.  "If this is even enough should I call one of the lances. Lance aya perhaps?" she asked knowing full well of her personality.

"Puh-lease I'd rather have a talk with my bond rather than her" I said as I rolled my eyes disbelief.

" I did hella lot more than that," he said enthusiastically as he opened the door.

Whether it was the sparkling brightness inside the room or the fact that this room looked more like a huge natural wonder than a training facility.
