Olivia

"HOW COULD YOU?! WERE YOU FUCKING OLIVIA THIS WHOLE TIME?!" Trevor growled as Tyler and Toddrick pulled him and Sage apart.

Sage growled warningly, wiping the blood from his lips. "Watch it, Trevor!"

Trevor shoved him. "FUCK YOU!! WHAT HAPPENED TO BEING BROTHERS, HUH?! I THOUGHT WE WERE CLOSER THAN THAT!! BUT INSTEAD, YOU GO BEHIND MY AND KYSON'S BACKS AND FUCK OLIVIA?! SHE'S HIS LITTLE SISTER, YOU FUCKING IDIOT!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" He was so angry that his Desi accent started to show a bit as he yelled at his friend.

"Trevor!!" I called out, appalled at the language he was using.

He whipped his head in my direction, and the look of anger on his face softened slightly. "Olivia, what the hell were you thinking?! Y-" Trevor stopped mid-sentence, a look of contemplation on his face. He was finally putting the pieces together.

His eyes narrowed with a scoff. "Is Sage the guy from the cabin?" He whispered in disbelief. "The guy who took your virginity was Sage?!" I didn't answer his question, I just looked away and wrapped my arms around myself. "ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?!" Trevor growled.

I flinched in shock. Sage growled. The paintings and photos on the wall shook as the infrasound of the animalistic growl rumbled through the house. He was pissed.

"DO NOT RAISE YOUR VOICE AT HER!! SHE WILL BE YOUR LUNA!! YOU WILL RESPECT HER!!" His voice was deep, menacing, and demanded obedience. Everyone bowed to their future Alpha.

Sage took a calming breath before continuing. "Yes, Olivia and I slept together. There was a strong connection between us that was hard to ignore when we met, and it's still there. Trust me, I tried so very hard to ignore it and her that whole summer..." He said.

"Besides, the consenting age in our world is sixteen because of the mate pull and a shit ton of other things! We hadn't broken any rules or laws when we made love. And I had no idea that she was Kyson's little sister until I saw her picture on his dresser when I got back to SunFae. I would've never touched her if I knew she was that important to the both of you... I would have waited." He explained.

My heart fluttered when Sage said that we'd made love. The day he left, saying those hurtful things, he said all we had ever done was fuck and nothing more. That was the line that shattered me the most. Sage and I made passionate, cry-worthy love many times. For him to say it was nothing more made my heart explode, and not in a good way.

"You think Oliva is your mate?" Our heads snapped in the direction of the soft and melodious voice. At the end of the hallway, Mali and Conner stood, hand in hand, exciting smiles gracing their faces.

I didn't want to be the one that broke their spirits, but it had to be done. "No, Mali. I will not be his mate-" "Olivia." Sage cut me off in a pleading tone.

I turned to him. "I mean it... You lied to me, you broke my heart and stomped on it. There are things that you don't even know about that you took from me, and you say that you did it all to protect me but-" "I did! I would've never done it if it wasn't necessary! You have to believe me! Trust that I am telling you the truth!" He pleaded once more.

"You haven't done anything to earn my trust, Sage! You want me to believe that you had a reason for saying all of those hurtful and spiteful things two years ago, but when I ask you for the reason you never answer me! How do you expect me to believe that, Sage?"

"I don't know! But I want you to at least try to believe that I'm not lying to you! I did it to protect you, Olivia." He was starting to sound like a broken record now, and I was tired of hearing the same line over and over again. Not just from Sage, but from everyone.
