Olivia pov.

The following week, after the event with Roman, my team was seated behind RWBY, watching the sparring between Pyrrha and Team CRDL. Except for me, my thoughts were elsewhere; I was still trying to figure out who had fired the arrow at the mech. Others may not think it's a big deal, but after hearing what my brother said about it, how could I not?

Flashback, it was the afternoon after dealing with Roman.

My brother was sitting on the couch of our....well, his home now, holding onto the piece of metal and tracing it with his semblance.

Y/n: So, where did you say you got it from?

I was sitting across from him on the couch, trying to concoct a lie because I didn't want him to find out and be disappointed that I had done something illegal.

Olivia: Professor Mulberry has assigned everyone to a project.

I turn my head to the side to see Ella coming out from the kitchen carrying a bag of chips making her way to my brother, only to sit next to him.

Olivia: what do you mean by that?

Ella: Because I remember him having my year do that for our finals, and many of the other years had to do it as well.

Shit... I completely forgot she went to beacon; it's just that most of them go on to become huntsmen or huntresses after graduating, so it kinda slipped my mind, but I need to come up with something or I'll die.

Olivia: (clears throat) Really? He stated on the first day that he wanted to try something different because everyone said his class was easy.

Ella: that lying prick! That's exactly how he is!

This made me and y/n jump a little in our seats.

Ella: no one thought of that; his class was always a pain in the ass. I almost failed because my weapon was "too basic" (scoffs), as if who cares?

My brother and I couldn't help but laugh as we awkwardly stared at her, a drop of sweat slowly trickling down our backs. She quickly realizes, causing her cheeks to flush with embarrassment.

Ella: sorry about my rant... I despised his class.

Olivia: (waves it away) no.no.noIt's all right...

I'm in the same class as she is, so I understand what she's saying, but having a brother who's been around different kinds of weapons and stuff since he was a kid gives me an advantage.

Y/n: sis? Tell me Again, where did this metal come from?

Olivia: like where it was severed?

Y/n: yes.

Olivia: he said  "From an arrow,"

He looks at me with trepidation.

Y/n: Are you sure?

Olivia: I swear, What? Is it not?

He turned off his semblance and handed it back to me.

Y/n: You should speak with him about it; he may have given you the wrong one.

Olivia: Are you serious?

Before pointing to the metal, my brother nods.
