Chapter 15

TIANA'S POV

It's had been getting along with Declan for two weeks now. He had been by me, he had taken me to my parents which was so thoughtful of him.

I still couldn't believe I was going to become a big sister. I had found out about my mom's pregnancy during the visit.

But sadly, all that was just friendly since Declan was now leaving to go to one of the house parties with his girlfriend, Jenna.
I wasn't lieing to myself since I knew he was being nice to me as his dad had ordered. But it was better since we could call it all off in a few months.

"Make sure none of you guys leave." Declan warned us as he walked out of the door.

"You don't tell us what to do." Avery scoffed.

"Oh well, I just did and you won't go anywhere." He smirked and left leaving me with an angry Avery.

Jace had gone out with Kayla and the kids to the lake house. They were going to spend there a week. Leaving me with Avery and Declan.

"You know we can watch movies." I Shrugged not seeing the reason why she was being dramatic.

"Was that supposed to make feel better, well right now my mood just declined by 10." She deadpanned taking her seat on the couch.

I put the movie anyway and we started watching. "You guys should start getting along. You're like siblings for Pete's sake." I exclaimed.

"It's not as easy as you think it is. Declan is so hard." She shrugged.

" Well do something atleast."

"You know we used to be inseperable when we were Young. Him,Taylor and Alec were like my side kicks. But all of a sudden,it made a turn up to now." The thought made me smile.

"They became teenagers." I tried to reason. "With puberty and all in the way."

Avery laughed, "But that doesn't give them the lisence to become assholes,you know?" She was right. Nobody had the right to treat people wrong.

We stayed silent throughout the movie with my Declan filled thoughts. He and Jenna were meant for each other Anyway. They were both perfect together and I wasn't going to deny that.

A ding from my phone got me out of my thoughts and I saw a text message from the least expected. It was Mason Grey.

Mason: Hey;)

I was hesitant before replying.

Me: Hey ya.

Mason: Thought I would check on my beautiful friend :,-)

Ashhh, my heart was flattering now from the name. Making sure to sound all casual.

Me: Aw sure. How's everything?

Mason: All good. Hoping King is treating you right.

Me: Speaking of which am sorry about that day.
I was sorry. I remember a hurt expression on his face that evening but maybe they had their reasons.

Mason: Only if you hang out with me tomorrow:-)

Hanging out with him wouldn't be bad. As much as I knew, I wasn't going to stop hanging out with my friends because am engaged for financial purposes. If Declan could then why not me.

Me: Not a bad idea.

Mason: Thank you. Goodnight beautiful. See you tomorrow.

I smiled to myself. Mason was nice and hot. But not hotter than Declan.
