15. Grace's POV

When I arrived at the shop today I got greeted by an over excited Jane. She asked me why I came today. According to her I should enjoy my early marriage days. I just shook my head at her and went inside. She then questioned about Richard and when I explained everything to her she started shouting. Like literally shouting about how Sebastian is so concerned about my safety. I already know that she doesn't have to yell about it. He is my friend that's the reason behind his concern and care.

As I finished my lunch I received a call from Sebastian. He called me just to know whether I had my lunch. I told him that I already ate and then I hung up the call. I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in". Richard came in.

"Mam you called me". He asked politely.

"Please don't call me mam. It's Grace for you. And yes I called you to ask whether you had your lunch"? I asked. He can't just sit in the shop protecting me and not take care about himself.

"Not yet mam". He answered.

"Then go and have it. I am not going anywhere till the evening". I informed him. He just gave me a nod and went out of the office. Let's finish some work I thought to myself and started working on my accounts.

Around 4pm grandma called me and asked about my new home. How is Sebastian treating me and all that stuff. I informed her that we both are completely fine and she doesn't have to worry about me.

My marriage with Sebastian is very important to her. I can't imagine how she will react when we decide to get divorce. I can't bound Sebastian in a loveless marriage. He deserves better.

Rest of the day went soon. After checking the accounts I got busy with the customers. At 6pm I took my purse and phone and went out of the office. Jane saw me approaching to her and wiggles her eyebrows in confusion.

"Going early today"? She asked.

"Not just today. It will be my daily routine from now so you have to close the shop". I said.

"No worries. I'll do it". She smiled at me. I hugged her and went out. Richard saw me and opened the car door for me.

"Thanks Richard". I smiled at him.

"Welcome Grace". He smiled back. He then came back and started the car.

"So Richard tell me something about yourself"? I asked.

"Well there is not much to know. I live here while my parents lives in california. I started working as bodyguard when I was 23 and now it's been 3 years working in this field". He said.

"That means you are 26 years old. What about girlfriend"? I raised my eye brows.

He looked at me from the mirror and then gave me a smirk. He has a nice face with brown eyes but I don't find him attractive. He is not as handsome as Sebastian. Wait what did I just thought. I find Sebastian attractive. My mind is definitely messing up with me. It's true that Sebastian is handsome but I don't find him attractive in that way.

"Why are you smirking? I just asked out of curiosity. Nothing much". I told him.

"I know Grace. I was just teasing you". He chuckled.

"So"? I asked.

"I don't have a girlfriend. I have a wife". He said.

"You are married! But I don't see any wedding band in your finger". I gestured towards his left finger.

"My son misplaced it when I was in the shower". He said.

"What! You have a son! Now you are giving me shocks". I laughed. He laughed along with me.

"He is just one year old". He smiled.

"What's his name"? I asked.

"His name is Liam". He replied.

"I would love to meet him someday". I said.

"You know Grace. You are my first boss who talks so politely. The people for whom I have worked before you was very rude and mean". He smiled softly. I just smiled back at him. Around 6:20 we reached home. I entered inside and then got freshen up and changed my clothes. I wore a tshirt and shorts and went down to prepare dinner.

I prepared some chicken Alfredo along with rice and baked a chocolate cake for us. I took out the cake and started icing it when I saw Sebastian standing near the entrance of kitchen looking at me with a smile on his face.

"Hey". I smiled.

"Hi". He replied.

"Dinner is ready. Change your clothes and come back". I said.

"Sure". He nods at me and went upstairs.

Before he came back I arranged our dinner on the table along with some wine I found in his wine cellar before. This mansion has a wine cellar as well. I sat on the chair waiting for Sebastian. He came back wearing a white tshirt and a short.

"Let's start". He sat on his chair and we both  started our dinner.

"So how was your day"? I asked.

"It was nice. What about yours"? He asked

"Good". I replied.

"This is really very delicious. You are an amazing cook". He appreciated me while eating.

"I learned from the best". I said shyly.

"Who"? He asked.

"My grandma taught me how to cook". I smiled remembering how I used to cook with her and my father.

"Nice. Listen Grace. Around 9pm I am going out. My friend Ryle invited me and Adrian to his new club". He said.

"Okay". I nods at him.

"You can come if you want". He said.

"No. You guys go and enjoy". I said.

We both finished our dinner and then ate our dinner in the living room. Sebastian left for the club after 8:30 pm. I took a book from the library and went upstairs in my room.
