50. Sebastian's POV

Adrian has gone for two hours. I am pacing in the living room waiting for them. Why they are not back yet? I am getting impatient with every second. I won't be at  ease until I see her with my eyes.

"Jane can you call Adrian and ask where is he"? Rebecca asked.

"I called him but he is not picking up". She replied. 

After more 10 minutes Adrian came back.

"There he is". Tristan said. I walked towards him but stopped in the middle when I saw he is alone.

"Where is Grace"? I asked.

"She is at my home". He replied.

"Why didn't she came with you"? Mom asked him.

"She said she don't want to come here and asked me to took her to my home". Adrian replied to mom.

"How is she"? Grandma asked.

"She is fine grandma. She is not hurt atleast physically". He said glaring at me and Maria who is still here.

"Have you talked to her? About this whole misunderstanding". I asked.

"I tried to tell her that it's not your fault but she didn't listened to me and I didn't forced her. It's better if you stay away from her for now". He said.

"You can't tell me to stay away from my wife". I told him anger. Why he is behaving like that.

"Oh did you forgot about your wife when you was with her in the hotel room"? He yelled making me shock.

"It's all a misunderstanding Adrian. You know me very well. You know how much I love her. I will never do that to her". I yelled back.

"I know everything but if you didn't fell in Maria's trap and told her everything from the start this wouldn't have happened. Do you even know in which state she is right now". He said.

"I am sorry Adrian. Please forgive me". Maria said.

"Just shut the fuck up. You are the reason behind her tears. So leave and don't show me your face ever again". He shouted at her.

"Adrian calm down son". Dad said.

"How can I calm down uncle? When I said that Grace is my little sister I meant it. You guys know her past. How broken she was before marrying with Sebestian. Finally she found her happiness only to get break again. But you know what she said to me  Sebestian? She said this time she don't feel broken anymore because she feels like her heart is dead now. She fainted in the cemetery and thank god someone was there to get her to the hospital". Listening to him tear rolled down my eyes. This is all my fault. I knew about her past. She told me how scared she was to love me but what I did. I broke her trust. I shouldn't have lied to her in the first place. Because of me my beautiful angel is suffering right now.

"What happened to her"? Mom asked.

"I think she fainted because she didn't ate anything since morning. We were about to go to lunch but she told us to go and said she will join us but she never did". Rebecca said. Listening to her another pang of guilt hit my heart. I left early without having breakfast with her.

"She is fine now. She had her dinner. I can't let her sleep without eating anything in this condition". Adrian said.

"Condition"? Tristan asked.

"Disturbed and hurt". Adrian muttered.

"So what do we do now"? Dad asked.

"She will live with me until she is ready to talk to you and make things clear. And no one will force her to do anything". Adrian said.

"But I want to talk to her now". I said.

"And I said I won't let you because she is asleep now. I don't want to give her more stress for today". He said.

"Adrian you should have told her the truth". Tristan said.

" Do you really think Tristan I didn't tried. When I told her that Sebestian will not do such thing she thought I am taking his side because he is my best friend. Its better if they talk to each other". He said.

"Yes he is right. Sebestian should talk to Grace". Grams said.

"And one more thing you will not force her to talk to you. You will wait until she is ready to listen to you. Best friend or not I don't care. My sister's emotions are more important to me". Adrian said.

"Okay". I said and turned around started walking towards my room. I stopped in the middle and turned around.

"Everyone please go to home now and Jane please stay with her tonight. Sometimes she gets nightmares".I said.

"Dont worry I will". She gave me a small smile.

"Bro can I stay today"? Tristan asked.

"Do as you want just don't disturb me". I went upstairs and closed the door of the room.

As I entered my room I sat down on the floor. The room is not same without her. I punched the door in anger. This is all my fault. I can't even imagine her state right now. How can I do this to her.

"Derek Smith you will pay for this". I gritted in anger.

I cried for her. For my already broken wife to whom I promised to love and care for the rest of my life but I failed. I failed her. I failed myself. I failed our love.
