Chapter 16- Past to Present

Authors note: it's official. I've gone  crazy. The following is a conversation I had -with myself- using a British accent. And I'm using my fake name.

"This is so boring Athena!"

"Oh, stop complaining Athena."

"No."

"At least complain to someone who cares."

"YOU'RE ME!! of course you care,"

"Sadly not."

"I can complain to myself if I want to."

"it just proves that you're crazy."

"I'M NOT CRAZY!"

"You'd have to be crazy to talk to yourself in a British accent."

"SHUT UP!!"

After that I basically fought with myself for another fifteen minutes.

P.P.S. After that I gave myself the silent treatment.

P.P.S. I'm completely bored. I have NOTHIGN to do. Please post your books in the comments section and I'll read them and comment and all that fun stuff.

Chapter 16

Madeline's POV

I sat on the shore and watched my friends swim. Percy knew I'd beat him up if he tried to get me to swim so he just didn't bother trying.

  Alii and Caitlin were amazing swimmers. They could hold their breath for over five minutes and swim faster than anyone else except Percy. Kaiti was an okay swimmer, apparently some of her boarding schools had, had swimming pools.

  The only one that couldn't swim at all was MacKenzie. She was scared to go in past her knees and she said she'd never liked water. I guess it was because of her dad's rivalry with Poseidon. Eventually she just gave up and came to sit with me.

Thalia stood by the shore and talked to Percy as they watched the campers play freeze-tag and have races... well except for most of the Aphrodite cabin who was there. They sunbathed instead.

Kaiti and the twins were using their powers to help them play tag.

Kaiti was tagging people with her hair, which had grown already since she got here. Apparently it grows almost two inches a day.

Caitlin and Alii were teleporting in front of people and terrifying them.

Overall they were having fun and winning every game. I sighed and lay back, contented.

Alii's POV

After swimming we had a meeting, none of us knew anybody's past except for a little bit of MacKenzie's and mine and Caitlin's... and we hadn't told them our whole story either.

We settled into the Zeus cabin, because nobody else lived there except for Thalia, and she was joining the meeting.

"Okay..." said Madeline, "I'll go first."

"When I was little I always knew about my powers. My best friend Carolyn knew about my powers to, we were both diagnosed with ADHD, dyslexia, and schizophrenia. We always  got in trouble together, but my dad just sent us to a different school when we got kicked out. I haven't seen him in four years and I'm pretty sure he knows about my being a half-blood"
