I dropped my hands quickly and turned around in a circle. "I-i was" i stammered not knowing what to say. aunt claire raised an eyebrow. "you were probably sleepwalking. let's go have breakfast." i agreed that we should and sat at the table next to nell so we could talk. as soon as breakfast began and everyone was occupied I turned to nell. "obviously you had the dream or whatever but what does it mean and where did the book go?" she scoots closer to me and lowers her usually loud
voice. "maybe it's only for our eyes, Ya know, it knows when people are looking and stuff.." I looked at her doubtingly. "what!? it's a good idea!" "fine fine whatever." i dismissed the notion and began eating. we would have to try to find the book later.

the doorbell rang soon after breakfast and about an hour later all the guests were gone. nell and I went upstairs slipping past the angry aunt claire griping about how we ate all the food in the house. "maybe you're right nell, let's try to find the book now that everyone is gone." she nodded her head proudly but in all honesty I thought about it and it seemed so ridiculously crazy. (but she didn't need to know that) we walked down the hall and into our room and the book was sitting on our newly made beds. I ran over and picked it up. the first couple pages were filled just like they had been when we woke up but the next couple pages were starting to fill with words in no order whatsoever. "nell!" I call to her and she Comes running. she looks down at the book too and everything turns black.
