"One...Two...Three!" Aubrey's words are barely audible over the cheers of the crowd.
Tay Conti lays under Kat with her shoulders pinned to the mat. Her left leg hiked up in Kat's grasp and keeping her shoulders pinned down for the count.
Kat drops Tay's leg after the bell rings and gets to her feet. Aubrey raises her arm just before Matt and Nick climb into the ring and hoists her onto their shoulders between them.
"Hell yeah, Kat!" Matt praises her as she's let back down to the mat.
"Sorry, Tay. No hard feelings, yeah?" Kat looks over at Tay as she finally picks herself up.
"No problem." Tay flashes her a wide smile and a thumbs up.
Satisfied that her opponent isn't holding a grudge, Kat heads backstage with her brothers. As soon as they are through the curtain, Tony Khan is waiting for them.
"Tony, what's up?" Kat walks over to the delightful general manager.
"Nice job out there, Kat. You looked great." Tony pats Kat on the shoulder. "I've actually got some big news. Can you all meet me in my office after the show?" He asks both Kat and her brothers.
"Sure, no problem." Kat nods. "Guys, that fine with you?" She glanced back at Matt and Nick.
"Mhm." Nick nods. And Matt does the same.
Tony nods and leaves Kat and her brothers to go about their business for the rest of the show. Kat heads back to her locker room so she can rinse off and change. Meanwhile, Matt and Nick meet up with Kenny and Don for their match on the card.
Kat returns to her locker room in silence, hoping that the rest of her night will go as smoothly as it has since she arrived earlier in the day. As she's making her way back to the locker room she passes by the community locker room for the majority of the woman's roster.
"Hey, Kris." Kat waves to Statlander as she comes through the door.
"Hey, Kat. You looked great out there earlier, by the way." Kris waves right back at her with a smile.
"Thanks!" Kat beams. "We've totally got to get some training time in together." She adds.
"That would be awesome, yeah!" Kris agrees. "You've got my number. Just hit me up next time you're free."
"I will, have a good night, Statlander." Kat nods and lets Kris go.
Kris walks off and Kat continues on her journey to her locker room. As she rounds the corner she comes face-to-face with a woman she's never been able to stand. Britt Baker.
"Britt." Kat nods to the current women's champ politely.
"Well if it isn't the worst member of the Jackson trio." Britt snickers, Jamie and Rebel doing the same on either side of her.
"Hilarious." Kat rolls her eyes. "You mind moving, Baker?" She asks her. "I've got a meeting after the show, and I'd rather not be late to it."
"Aww hear that girls? The cute little kitty Kat has somewhere to be." She teases Kat with a smug grin. "You know what? I think that I'll just wait here for a second. You know, take my time getting to the locker room."
"Of course." Kat grits her teeth. "How is that working out for you anyway, Baker? Sharing a locker room with everyone else that is?" She doesn't hesitate to mess with Britt for some easy payback. "Meanwhile I'm hanging out comfortable in my own locker room. All cozy." She grins.
"Pfft, at least I earned my championship." Britt rolls her eyes and flashes the belt on her shoulder.
"Right." Kat chuckles. "Because giving out orders to your two lackeys is SO hard." She glances at Jamie and Rebel.
