The day of the fight comes around fast and Kat is up unusually early for once. Adam is woken up by the sound of the shower running in the other room and glances at the clock with a yawn; it's barely even 6 am.

Groggily Adam forces himself out of Kat's criminally comfortable bed and trudges into the bathroom where steam is streaming through the cracks of the door.

"Kat? Babe, why are you up so early?" Adam yawns as he opens the bathroom door.

"Today's the day, Adam," Kat replies from inside the shower. "Tonight is the night that I finally shut your snotty little ex's mouth for good. And take her championship as well." She explains and Adam can hear the disdain for Britt in her voice.

"Championship?" Adam furrows his brows, still willing himself awake. "Since when was the title on the line?"

"Since I paid Khan a call and asked him to make it so," Kat replies and turns the shower off. "After tonight babe? Britt Baker won't ever have the audacity to even mention me or anyone else related to me again. I am going to absolutely embarrass that bitch. Just you watch." She steps out of the shower with a look of pure determination.

"Okay!" Adam chuckles. "As hot as you sound all riled up like this. Let's tone it back a little, huh?" He asks nicely with a grin. "Save all that fire for the match."

"I thought you liked it when I get all riled up?" Kat grins back at him.

"I do, I do." Adam chuckles again. "But we both know that sex before a big match is bad luck." He reminds Kat.

"Oh since when do either of us need any luck." Kat rolls her eyes and drops her towel onto the bathroom tile. "Come here." She grabs Adam by the hand and pulls him over to her. "Lose the sweats and let's finish this shower." She grins.

"Yes, ma'am." Adam wastes no time in complying with Kat's suggestion.

Around an hour or so later Matt shows up at Kat's place with Nick in tow. He unlocks her door with his key and is immediately met by Rosco who comes barreling down the hallway.

"Shit! Down!" Matt braces himself for impact. "Katie! Come get your horse!" He shouts into the house.

"Kat?" Nick gives a shout when there is no sign of their sister. "She's home right? That's her car in the driveway." He glances at Kat's car parked off to the side.

"Yeah, and that's Adam's on the curb." Matt nods as he pushes the dog off of him. "They're probably still asleep." He grumbles and pushes Rosco to the side with his foot.

Matt and Nick make it into the house and shut the door behind them, Rosco trots off somewhere else in the house and Matt gives another shout for his missing sister.

"Wait! Shut up!" Kat shushes Adam sitting on her bed when she suddenly hears voices out in her call. "Matt?" She calls out and pulls her towel tighter around her body.

"Katie?" Matt shouts again. "What are you deaf?" He comes to her bedroom door.

"I was in the shower," Kat replies and walks over to her wardrobe. "Why are you breaking into my house at 7 am?" She asks in a shout. "And where is my dog?"

"He's fine, almost tackled me when I came in." Matt rolls his eyes. "Are you decent?" He asks, still standing at the door.

"No, but I am," Adam replies for Kat. "Hold on." He opens the door and slips out while Kat gets dressed.

"Oh." Nick rolls his eyes. "Well, that explains why she didn't hear us. She had you on top of her."

Adam chuckles which earns him an elbow in the ribs from Matt for acting like a sleaze regarding their sister. Adam groans but leads the brothers away from Kat's door so she can get dressed.
