Unrequited

Who Are You?

For those of you reading my story and are confused by the term 'social', it's basically just a night out clubbing (usually in fancy dress) with a society that you've joined. So in my case, drama society, where Rain and I go every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.

So, baaaaaaasically, I made mine and Rain's outfits because we've not exactly got high funds at the moment, all i made us was, some cuffs to go round our wrists, a belt and a ninja mask, both outfits are completely identical except from the fact that Rain's is red and mine is purple - to match my purple high heels and bag.

At 8pm sharp, Rain was at my door, all dolled up and ready for me to give her her outfit.

"Ahh I'm just so excited Ally! I mean, Mitch is going to be there! And those new boys that started the other week said they were going to come as well, but more importantly Mitch is going!" She sighed happily whilst I tied her belt around her waist, over her black dress, "So we've got Fin for eye candy, the new boys for buying us drinks and flirting with and Mitch to chat and dance with!" She ended this with a clapping like it was the most perfect thing she'd ever known of.

"Errrrrm, you can dance with Mitch hun, but I'd rather stay away! He does have a girlfriend you know?" I said whilst raising one eyebrow disapprovingly towards my best friend.

"Oh, he could do soooo much better than her and you know it! She looks like a freaking tranny for God's sake!" She sighed and did a spin in front of the mirror.

"Hey, don't judge, she might actually be one." She spun back around and hit my arm, "Hey! He might be into that!" I laugh manically at her expression, "Then what are you gonna do, huh?" 

He expression was priceless as if she were actually considering it!

"Oh, don't make me think of scenarios like that!" She whined, "I'll just ... Ah, I'll do nothing because that's not what he's into!" She said as she plonked herself down onto the bottom of my bed whilst tying her ninja mask behind her head and sulking a tad.

"Oh come on, I'm only teasing, plus you know he's totally into you anyway! He never leaves you alone at drama socials and at drama rehearsals in fact!" She seemed to perk up a bit at this, and then she just laughed.

"Yeah, I know!" She replied and bounced on my bed.

I quickly put my own outfit on and stood in front of the mirror. I looked alright I suppose. I had on all my ninja accessories with my purple heels, purple bag and black skater dress. Rain wore exactly the same dress but her bag and heels were red.

"Come on you moany bitch." I said as I made my way across my room and slid my hand behind my desk to reveal a litre bottle of vodka, "Let's tank up!"

It was absolutely freezing by the time we decided to leave at half 10! the gorgeous weather from earlier on in the day had disappeared completely and I could literally see my breath in front of me! 

... But when you're drunk ... You barely notice it!

So because I live right near the main road, it only takes us not even 5 minutes to get to the pub where we arranged to meet everyone and then off to the clubs.

So by the time we stumble into the pub, we're surprised to find that everyone is already there waiting for us.

"Oh no .. Don't tell me we're the last one's he-" I start to say whilst still standing in the entrance, but Clare, the social secretary, cuts me off.

"Last one's here! Forfeit, forfeit, forfeit." She starts chanting and everyone else joins in.

I drag Rain over to the table and she slams her hands down to get everyone's attention and then slurs, "OK..... what vave vee got to vo!" And everyone erupts into laughter!
