"WOOOOOOOOOO! What's that now? 5 - nil?" I shout in the direction of my opponents whilst I high five Rain.
"Oh come on, that was an easy shot!" Eva complains.
"Hey! You couldn't have made it!" Jill says and we all laugh, apart from Eva.
"Dude, you're on my team! You're supposed to back me up not knock me down!" Eva whines and pushes Jill.
"I'm sorry but you're really shit at pool!" Jill retorts.
"Hey guys, I'm gonna play one more song and then I'll let you get back to normal, well-known music!" Fin says into his mic and starts singing one of his own songs.
"Uhhhhhh, his voice just makes me melt every time!" Eva says as she 'melts' into her chair and starts downing the rest of her drink.
"Oh honey, I know what you mean!" I agree, "Too bad his girlfriend's everywhere he goes aye?" I say as I point discreetly towards Alison who was working behind the bar tonight and we all laugh really loudly.
Now .... remember when I told you about Jill's laugh? About how amazingly loud and weird it is?
Yeah ... So you can now see how this joke was a bad idea on my behalf because before we could do anything about it ... The laugh came out!
"Oh look what you've done!" Eva says as she buries her head in her hands.
Everyone in the pub turns to look at us. And there's a lot of people in a pub on a Saturday night, even if it is acoustic night.
I feel my phone vibrate like crazy in my coat pocket. It'smy lovely, lovely sister! (No sarcasm there, she genuinely is lovely!)
"Hey Lana, two seconds! I'm in the pub, just gotta go outside!"
I jump up from my seat and run outside, but the sound doesn't improve, I can still barely hear a word she's saying because of Fin's stupidly gorgeous voice!
"Hey what's up?"I ask her.
"Oh nothing much, I just fancied a chat really. And advice on what to wear to my school disco on Friday because you know, I haven't really seen you very much lately because you're always at drama or at the pub!" I laughed at this.
"You make me out to be some actor-reject who has an alcohol problem!"
She laughs at my joke.
"Hey, who's that playing in the background?" She asks me seriously.
"Oh that's Fin,t the guy from drama who I told you about!"
"He's really good!" She gushes
"See? Now you know the real reason why I'm always at the pub! It's not always for the drink!" I joke with her again and she laughs, "I tell you what, if you really like him you should go on facebook and like his music page. That way you can actually listen to some of his songs that he's recorded and uploaded on there."
"Oh my Gosh! You serious? You can actually do that?!" She shouts down my earhole!
"Ouch! And yeah, he's uploaded them on facebook!"
"Okay, I'm doing that right now!" And I can hear her tapping away on her keyboard.
"Anyway Lany, I gotta go, but I'll make sure I come home early tonight, gimme another hour and I'll come home and help with your disco crisis! Ok hun?"
She agrees and we hang up on each other.
I strut back into the pub and stand at the head of our table.
