Lillian's POV
My father signed the contract. I said I'm coming. Father said no your not. I said yes I am let's go. Father said fine only because you know how to fight.
We caught up with them. They gave us horses I hopped on one. My father was hesitant so they helped him on one. I was riding in the back with Kili. The dwarfs were very cautious around me because I was half elf and they hated elves.
We stopped for the night. We heard some weird noises. Someone said there orcs. Father said orcs. One of them said there are dozens of them out there they strike when everyone is asleep quickly and quiet no screams. They started laughing. Thorin said you think that's funny you think a night raid by orcs is a joke. Kili said I didn't mean anything by it. Thorin said no you didn't. Balin said don't mind him laddie Thorin's grandfather was killed by orcs. Balin then told us the story of what happened. It was sad really it was.
We were on the road again and it was raining. One of the dwarfs said can't you do something about this rain. Gandalf said it will rain entail it is done. Gandalf told us there were five wizards and fold is about them.
We stopped somewhere. Gandalf said we should move on to Rivendell Lord Elrond could help us. Thorin and Gandalf argued. Gandalf went off. Father said were you going. Gandalf said I'm leaving.
There were trolls and they all almost got themselves killed but Gandalf showed up. We moved on.
