TIme sure flies fast...Anyway, this update is shorter than chapter 13 *sigh* I know, I'm sorry but I'm having a down time now...I can't seemingly find the inspiration I needed so as to not post trashy word womits I will be on HIATUS for a month~! "W-what?" James blanched in his place, eyes wide.
Keith sighed sliding down in his seat, his position looks uncomfortable. "I said Lil' Pea..my Lil' Pea and your," He hissed in distaste as if he swallowed a lemon. "Little Picasso, Rei Ingram is the same person."
"W-what made you think that?" James asked nervously. Damnit why am I acting guilty?! I didn't do anything bad! He scolded his self.
Keith looked straight to James's eyes. "You," Then he waved his hand over the elder's figure. "—the way you act last night and now. The way you avert your eyes and, just, everything." Keith leaned forward, and rested his cheek on his palm. "You know something and you are not telling whatever it is to me." He breathed, eyes narrowed.
James abruptly stood from his seat. "I didn't do anything wrong!" He exclaimed in a very defensive and suspicious manner.
Keith raised a mused brow. "Denial. Excessive denial. You just have proven my suspicion that you know something."

"C'mon, just tell me."

It is lunch time, the café busy and bustling like always, when Rei received a message from James.

I got free pass for La Paradiso's winter exhibit. I save one for you. Let's meet up at Tavern after your work. 12: 25 p.m. sent
Rei raised a confused brow after reading the text. She placed her wooden turn oar down and leaned on the kitchen counter, contemplating what to reply.
"Hey, don't flirt with your boyfriend during work." Amber said as she washes her juicer in the sink. Rei stuck her tongue. "Says 'the' best friend who moved out and left me alone to be with her 'hubby'." The older spat though they both know that Rei is just teasing and she is happy that finally Amber found someone to really stay and commit to even though it's only been a month since Noah and Amber met. Well, love is rush and passion after all.
Amber pouted then cooed. "Aww, are you missing me already?" She turned around and hugged Rei.
Rei scoffed. "As if I'll miss you bringing home different guys every goddamn night!" Then she shivers. "Our walls are not thick, you know."
"It's night every night! You exaggerating bitch." Amber let go, took a step back then waved her hand. "Pshh. Don't bring up the past anymore! I'm a devoted woman now. I only have my eyes for my precious Noah!" She declared with firm conviction.
"You better! Because Noah is a very nice guy." Rei stated grabbing her spatula and pointing it at her best friend. She officially met Noah a few nights ago when Amber dragged her to the diner one chilly night. And oh boy, Noah charmed his way to Rei's heart by reciting Van Gogh's biography.
