"Your phone will burst if you keep looking at it so intensely, Faye." June piped closing the trash bin. The raven straightened her body, wiping the sweat off of her forehead with the back of her hand. Angling her body to face her employer, hands on her hips, she asked with a curious brow raised. "So, what's up?"

Faye contemplated for a second or two before he let out a loud burdened sigh. "It's just Kris..." She started, pushing herself away from the kitchen counter. "—he hasn't called me for two weeks now."

Immediately, June's orbs swirled with concern and worry. Closing her eyes, she belted. "Bitches! We have code red in the kitchen! Get your big asses here now!"

"June!" Faye cried in embarrassment, cheeks tinted red.

June scoffed. "You know, I'm not a smart-ass and four heads is better than one."

"What's up?" Rei asked upon entering the kitchen with Amber and Risa behind her.

"June, I told you not to curse especially when you are at work! Children enter our store. What if a child hears you?" Risa reprimanded approaching June and hitting the girl on the arm. June rolled her eyes. "We've been closed for like two hour already, Risa. No one is here except us."

"Even so," Risa persisted.

"Anyway, what's with the bitch cry?" Amber asked making Risa glare at the blonde who proudly grinned at the elder female.

"Faye," June pointed at their friend. "—is having a crisis." All eyes turned to Faye. "What's wrong, Faye?" Risa asked, face painted with concern.

"It's Kris. He hasn't called for two weeks."

"Does this have something to do with, you know, him not being casted a month ago?" Rei asked and Faye shrugged really having no idea what is happening with her fiancé.

"But it's not like this is the first time he was rejected." Amber supplied, grabbing a chair and sitting on it. "Did you two have a fight or something?" She added.

Faye shook her head slowly. "None that I can think of, I mean, the last time we talked, he told me that a recruiter approached him and kind of asked him to audition for a role."

June hummed. "Maybe went to the audition and got the role so he is busy right now."

"But, if he did Kris would have more reason to call Faye not the other way around." Risa countered.

"Maybe he goes soul searching or something." Amber blurted out earning a look from her friends. "What?!" She cried waviing her hand expressively as if offended. "Kris is a fucking artist. And artists are weird!" He explained.

"I am not weird." Rei breathed off-handedly.

Amber turned to her best friend then patted the elder's blond tresses like Rei is a child. "It's bad to tell lies, Rei. What will your boyfriend say?"

Rei glared at Amber, slapping her friend's hand away from her head then crossing her arms in-front of her chest. "Ask, Keith. He'll tell you that I'm perfectly normal and sweet."

"Sweet, my ass." Amber and June snorted in unison provoking Rei who glared heatedly at her friend as if trying to blow up their heads to smithereens.

"We're getting out off topic, guys." Risa said taking a deep breath and mentally counting to ten to calm herself and not strangle her friends to death.

Faye smiled sadly. "It's alright, really, maybe Kris is just busy or something. He will call me soon."

"Why don't you go and see Kris in the flesh?" Rei blurted.

"Are you insane? It's not like the man lives in the country side or something. Kris is in Milan, psycho." June snapped.

"Yeah, so what? It's not like Faye cannot buy a plane ticket to Milan." Rei retorted casually. "You should go. Kris is important after all." She turned to Faye.

"But, the café,"

"Risa can look after the café while you are gone." Rei supplied and Faye looked at Risa who is frozen for a few second before the eldest's lips formed a smile and said. "Don't worry. I'll handle everything while you are gone." Then she put her hands on her hips and tilted her head slightly up. "I'll make sure that these rowdy brats won't do anything stupid." The three girls mentioned scoffed in denial.

Faye's smile widened, eyes forming happy crescents. "Thank you, girls."

"Aww," The 'brats' cooed while Risa pulled Faye into a hug. "Make sure that you find Kris and bring your fiancé back and up from whatever situation he is in, okay?"

Faye nodded and thanked her friends again.
