"YOU READY?" tendou asked, the tattoo pen held in his hand. he had this sudden gleam in his eyes that could definitely be identified as excitement, but you weren't sure whether he was excited to start tattooing or excited to see you in pain.
with a heavy sigh, you adopted your previous position on your hip, "as ready as i'll ever be."
tendou smiled and looked at his wrist, frowning a bit, and set down the pen for a moment to pat his pockets. he started looking around him, seeming to be scanning the counters.
"what are you looking for?" you asked, confused.
funny enough, he seemed to have forgotten you were there for those few seconds because when he turned towards you at the sound of your voice, he smiled in a way that you would smile when you finally see that one person you really like after a while. even though he only looked away for a few seconds.
"ah," tendou said, clearing his throat. he looked at your wrist and pointed, "mind if i borrow that?" he asked.
you followed his gaze to your wrist—where a black hair tie was wrapped around the limb—then back up at him, but before you could even open your mouth to say yes, tendou had already somehow taken your hand in his. you felt the pads of his fingers brush against your skin as he slipped the tie from your wrist and flashed you a sweet smile.
you only watched as he set the hair tie between his teeth. "thanks, angelface," he said, his voice slightly muffled by the tie.
you couldn't say anything.
sweeping up locks of his fiery red hair off his forehead, tendou gathered the wisps of hair into a little ponytail back of his head, resembling a half up half down style— which was, undeniably enough, to your detriment.
