Remember when you were a kid and your biggest worry was, like, if you get a bike for your birthday or if you get to eat cookies for breakfast. Being an adult, totally overrated.

-Meredith Grey

(Season one, episode five)

All the interns were sitting in the OR gallery watching Meredith assist in a heart surgery, watching as if their life depended on it, watching the surgery with amazement.

"I wish I could hold a heart."George states, while he and Cristina were eating something.

"A monkey could hold a heart." The dark haired girl states, making the youngest intern hold in her laugh at how jealous Cristina sounds.

"You're mad Burke didn't ask you." The curly headed boy said, as Cristina glared at him.

"George, I need more ice chips." The perky intern said.

"Who else did you invite, Izzie?" The brunette asked.

"Just some people from peds." She answered.

"You invited the preschoolers to Meredith's house." The asian woman complained.

"I thought you said it was supposed to be a small get together with your boyfriend and us. I mean why did you..." Claire started to ask but then gasped at the realisation. "Oh. My. God. He's bad at sex isn't he? The hockey player is bad at sex. Ha ha."

"No. I just want him to get to meet some of my friends." The blond defended.

"Oh my god he is bad in bed." Cristina said, starting to laugh.

"What, no-" Izzie started but got cut off by Claire.

"Hey, we're not here to judge, I for one completely get it. Hockey players might have nice strong arms and hands but overall, the sexual experience isn't good, I mean they're overconfident." She said making Cristina laugh harder, Izzie glared at her before storming out and George sitting there awkwardly and looking at Claire with confusion. "What? I've dated my fair share of men before." She said in response to his looks before walking out of the room as well.

"What do you see George?" Bailey asks the male intern in the room.

"Hyper-inflated lungs, clouded with bullae, seriously diminished capacity. She must be having trouble breathing." He responds to his residents while moving from foot to foot at a slow and calm pace.

"Course of action Claire?" The resident then asked the French intern.

"A bullectomy procedure, remove the bullae, reduce the pressure." She responds while looking at the scans.

"Says here we operated on her back in '99, so Mrs. Drake has been through this before, but talk her through it anyway. And resist the anti-smoking lecture, she feels bad enough already." The chief spoke up before walking out of the room and handing the chart to Claire who walked out afterwards.

"So you think if they put pictures of these on a pack of cigarettes people would stop smoking?" George asked Bailey to give him a glare.
