Dominico's POV
She sat next to me.
This is the closest I've ever been to her.
Wait. So that means I've been wanting her all this time and now she's going to be my wife. This is either going to be the best or worst mistake of my life.
"Mary please come out here with the food". Matteo said. About 5 seconds later a woman which I presume is Mary came out with about 5 other men holding trays of food. they all set the food down on the table. Once they were all set down, wine glasses were set out. and filled a third of the way up with red wine. I wanted to make sure that it was ok for me to start eating the food so I waited until everyone started putting food on their plates. After I filled my plate I started eating.
I was enjoying the silence but then my father had to ruin it. "So in about what it is, like a week Elvira will be moving in with us". After my father stated this I looked over to my right and me and her locked eyes. They held an expression that I couldn't really read. It was like a sense of surprise but with a mix of hope or security.
I looked back when her father said something "Well don't forget about her choice of bodyguards".
"Of course not, well since we're all here who will she be choosing, I would suppose either one of her cousins and her brother perhaps".
I hear a snort come from two people, one right next to me and one from across the table.
"You think that I'm going to bring one of my annoying cousins, haha you're wrong".
"Well who are you going to choose then, there is no other man at this table".
"Holy shit, hahaha this is really getting funny now, well since you asked I'm going to be bringing Rose, oh and don't forget my brother".
I looked over to Jace and Emeilano, and I could tell Emiliano was pretty excited for when Marco moved in, and then Jace wouldn't stop staring at Rose. This move in could potentially lead us to a big catastrophe if there are 3 teenage relationships in the house, but not forgetting my parents.
I looked over and saw both our mothers laughing their asses off at something. I don't know what it was but it definitely had nothing to do with this conversation.
"I'm going to go to the restroom, where is it exactly?"
"Come on, I'll show you". Elvira said on the right of me starting to get out of her chair.
I got up and started following her. I memorized the way to the bathroom so that I could find my way back.
"I could sense your surprise when I entered the dining room. You never even thought to find out my name, you just stared".
"Was it that noticeable?"
"Yup". "Oh and by the way your dad's a dick".
"Oh trust me I know". I said right as we got to a door.
"Here you go, I'm sure you'll find your way back".
"Ya thank you". I said as she started walking away.
"No problem, I wanted to get away from that table so it was the perfect chance to".
I entered the restroom and did my business. I walked back to the dining room and everyone was talking. Elvira was talking to Jace and Emiliano with her cousins, Rose and Marco embedded in the conversation and all of our parents were talking in a separate conversation. I sat down in my seat and just started listening to the conversation.
"What are we all going to do when we move in?" Marco said, talking to Elvira.
"Are you dumb, the usual. Party, drink, dance, duhhhh".
