"Isn't it a bit too big, Mademoiselle?" you questioned, looking around the carriage. It was the size of a room, with plenty of space to walk around in.

"I told you we're going to a ball. You're not planning on going dressed like that, are you?" Dominique said, looking back at you as she took off her white coat.

Your eyes were fixed on the Ball gowns hanging on the clothing rack next to you, and you were about to protest when Dominique spoke up. "Don't worry, Miku. If none of these ball gowns suit your liking, I might have something else you'll like, so don't worry, okay?" she said, smiling at you. You returned the smile, feeling grateful for her thoughtfulness. She knew that you didn't like this kind of clothing, as she could tell by your expression, even though your eyes were covered.

You didn't know it at the time, but when Dominique was still a child and first saw you, she was smitten with your eyes. She had always been captivated by the unique blend of pink and blue in your pastel eyes. Before Noe came into the picture, Dominique spent a lot of time with you and Louis, and the three of you had a great time together. Louis, too, had developed feelings for your blurry, pastel eyes. However, everything changed when you disappeared and Noe appeared in your place.

You nodded and said, "Thank you. Well then, I'll leave it to you, Mademoiselle Dominique. Please call me when you're done." You smiled at her and then looked over at Noe, giving him an apologetic smile as he was still stuck sitting on a stool with the collar wrapped around his neck. He was giving a puppy vibe.

You opened the violet door and walked out, being careful to close it quietly so as not to disturb Vanitas, who was sitting next to the door.

You walked past Vanitas and picked up Murr, who was lying beside him. Looking out the window, you saw the blood moon hanging in the sky. Your throat felt dry, and you couldn't help but wonder why you had kept coming back to Altus, even though it always made you feel uneasy. You kept these thoughts to yourself, however.

You suddenly saw Vanitas slowly getting up from his seat and leaning his back against the wall. You stiffened when he stepped towards you, causing you to step backwards. He continued to approach you until your back was flat against the wall.

He gently placed both of his hands on either side of your head, and his facial expression softened as he gazed into your eyes. "Tell me, my dear. What's been troubling you so much, Cherie?" he whispered, his right hand delicately grasping your blindfold and slowly pulling it away from your eyes. His touch sent shivers down your spine, and as your vision slowly returned, you found yourself lost in his gaze.

His bright blue eyes locked onto your beautiful pastel pink and blue eyes, and his unwavering gaze held both concern and bitterness. You felt your breath hitch a bit as you held onto Murr tightly, feeling vulnerable under his intense stare. Despite the bitterness in his gaze, you could also see the love and tenderness he felt for you shining through. It was as if he was trying to convey a message to you through his eyes, one that you couldn't quite decipher but that made your heart flutter nonetheless.

"I don't know what you mean, Vanitas," you said softly, breaking eye contact and looking down at the floor. He let out a sigh before leaning forward, causing Murr to jump from your embrace. He then laid his head on your neck, inhaling your scent, and slid his hands down to wrap your torso in a tight hug. You felt his warm breath against your skin, and you couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort and safety in his embrace.

"Did you really think I wouldn't notice it? You've been tense for a while now," he said, closing his eyes and waiting for your reply. You thought for a moment, feeling beads of sweat rolling down your cheeks. "For some reason, being in Altus makes me feel strange... and yet it also feels familiar," you told him. Just being here gave you a weird vibe, and you felt a bit nauseous.
