You, Vanitas, and Noe were then greeted by Dante and the two behind him injured in front of you. "Hey, quack, Miku." Dante greeted Vanitas tiredly, "Oh, Dante, perfect timing-" he paused when they saw them injured and covered in bandages, will for Dante and Johann as Riche was only covered in bruises. You blink twice, "What happened to you guys?" you asked them worriedly. "Don't mind it, I've got some new info on curse-bearers. I'll do you a solid and sell it to you!"

 "It was yesterday, that we finally located these curse-bearers who slipped into Paris not long ago. That's when..she was abducted right before our eyes." but then his mood switches when he mentioned, "But like an idiot!, Riche tried to stop it. I got dragged in and beat up, too." he said pointing at Riche's direction, "I never asked you to save me." she said blankly and this made Dante more irritate, "What do you say, hag!?"

"Shut it! fatty!" 

They keep fighting and talking insults with each other as behind them was Johann calmly trying to stop them from fighting. "All right, children, no need to fight," he said but it didn't help the sight to stop as Vanitas looked at them dumbfounded, and Noe just looked at the scene in front of him and you just sighed. They still continue as Johann got both your attention, "When I was alone, I was mistaken for a vampire and nearly abducted. But they fled the moment they realized I was a Dham. That was so rude."

Noe tilted his head confuse, "Dham?" he questioned you look at him, 'He doesn't know...?' you thought, "Noe, Dham is mostly likely half Vampire and human. All three of them." you calmly explain to him which made him a shock, Johann chuckled slightly at his expression, "You've never seen a dhampir before?" he asked Noe who immediately said no. Finally, Riche and Dante's fight was finally stopped, then Dante called Vanitas and throw something in his way. Vanitas looked at his hand to where he caught what Dante had thrown. "A little trophy I tore off the abductor's coat." Dante said you look at Vanitas' hand then your eyes widened a bit, 'That button...' you slightly look at Vanitas' expression seeing nothing but a blank expression on his face but his eyes were wide in shock. "A sword and six wings?" Noe questioned as he take a look at the button. 

"I know who abducted the vampires and who old-man Orlok's after. It's the Church's anti-vampire unit, The Chasseurs."

In an empty room and a big window in front of it were three figures kneeling down, the first figure wore black attire, and the two figures kneeling beside them were wearing a white coats. On the left side, a female voice echoed the room, "Captain, have you heard? It's about that human..." she asked the one in front his hand glued to each other as he was praying for something, "Of course, I have. Vanitas? was it? Not only was he made minion of the Blue moon Clan and the Pink moon, but they say vampires are flocking to his side in an attempt to use his power, and the Pink moon itself using him. What a...! Poor, pitiful child!" he said as tears flow out his eyes, "We must do whatever it takes to save him in the name of the Lord!" he said as he clench his fist as his beautiful emerald green eyes shimmers.

Your heels echoed throughout the stone halls that were rowed with cells, as you held the candle. "Halt. The Empire of the Dead lies ahead." Noe read the warning sign that is carved into a headstone.  "I'm shocked. I knew there was an ossuary beneath Paris, but now it's a tourist attraction?" you hummed, "Such a curious place, isn't it..." you said but Noe took notice of how your voice lowered for a moment you spoke but nodded. "It is, but this is only a tiny part of the tunnel network beneath Paris," Riche explained as she looked back at the both of you. 

You sighed because of the image that stuck to your head was Vanitas' expression, you wanted to shake it off but couldn't oh how memories flooded into you more. That you didn't realize that you continued to walk, causing Vanitas and Noe to follow you. You then stop when you found an interesting stone that has a large paragraph carved in it as you read it, your thought about early was then washed away but the feeling of being anxious is there. "Do you even think that we'll ever find the Chasseurs down here...?" you asked them as you didn't look behind you still focus on the stone. "I have no idea. But I often heard that the Chasseurs wiped out the vampires infesting the tunnels under wartime Paris." Vanitas replied with a shrug. 

"Wouldn't it be better to seek help from Count Orlock in investigating the disappearance?" Noe questioned, 'I doubt that.-' you thought but was then interrupted when Johann appeared behind you three with a smile, "Oh, I think not. that would be impossible." he said causing Murr to let out a hiss. Then Johann comes behind Noe and rubs his face on Murr's fur, "The bad blood between the vampires and Chasseurs still runs deep."

"One false move and...another war could break out..." you muttered but everyone beside you heard it, you basically hold a blank face as your grip on the candle handle tightened. Noe made a sound in shock, "Mik-"

"Dante...Please don't make things worse." you cut off Noe who was about to call you, you try to pull Dante away from the gates he was trying to pull on. "Stop it! I won't rest till I pay them back for that beatdown!" he exclaimed making you sigh. "Hey! What are you doing!?" a guard shouted making Dante flinch.

You sigh in relief away from that place as you six of you are now standing in front of the large lion statue. Where the devil did those kidnappers go!?" Dante screeched in anger. Murr got out of Noe's grasp as the cat went in your direction with a meow. You look down at him and pull Murr up to your chest in a hug and hum in comfort. 

Not knowing Noe was taking a glance at you. "What's this? worried about Vanitas and Miku, are we?" Johann asked him as he got again behind Noe and place his chin on Noe's shoulder, "I suppose so. They both act perfectly normal. So I wonder. Why would they be acting so?"

You were sleeping peacefully when you got back from the hotel, you were holding on to Murr with you who also sleeping. Noe allowed you to take him which made your eyes shimmer in joy and skippingly walk to bed with Murr. 

Vanitas, on the other hand, can't sleep as he inspects the button from the Chasseur, he was on top of the hotel on the roof laying down there. He blankly stared at the moon for a moment then closed his eyes. After a few minutes he stood up in his laying position and his blue eyes glow. He stand up and go back inside, as he did quietly to not disturbed any people in the room. He suddenly stops in front of your room, he glances at the door having second thoughts. 

But his body moved on its own and got the keys you gave him it ever he wanted to sleep with you. He opened the door and get the key back and put it inside his pocket and close the door behind him, he look at your sleeping figure and slowly walked towards you and kneel. He then glance at Murr and thought he would like to be Murr and he frown at the thought. 

He glances back at your face that isn't covered by any eyepatch or blindfold, all he sees in front of him was a beautiful lady, he inspects your long white eyelashes to your lips. His hands just suddenly move again to brush back a loose strand of your hair and then caress your smooth cheek. He then notice that you got closer to his hands enjoying his warmth. He leans forward, he gulps as his face gets closer to yours, but his other fist clench. He sighed after he got back to what he was at for and unclench his fist, but he gave you a quick kiss from the corner of your mouth before pulling away. 

And stand up from his kneeling position and got through the door but before that, he take a good time to look at you one more time before he left your room, not before again he spoke quietly not wanting you to wake up, "I'll be heading out, I'll come back soon."
