Undesirable Love

Chapter 7

   "Princess?" I heard. I sit up quickly scooting against the wall. "I didn't mean to scare you." Having a better look I see a boy with fox ears.

   "Who are you?" I ask.

   "My name is Fundy. I'm here to clean you up." He says crouching down. He looks back at the door before looking back at me.

   "Is something wrong?" I ask.

   "Here I brought you some of my dinner." He hands me a baked potato. "I know he poisons your  food." I take the food from his hand and take a small bite. When nothing bad happened I ate the potato quickly.

   "Thank you." I say.

   "Where did he hit you?" Fundy asks. He gave me a regeneration potion and cleaned up any blood.

   "Why are you being nice?" I ask as he finishes cleaning blood off the floor.

   "Because I know how Schlatt can be." He tells me. "And I don't think it's fair that you're here."

   "Then help me escape."

   "I can't-"

   "There is a place promised for you in the castle." I told him. "Just think about it."

   He nodded, staying quiet. Before leaving he hands me some milk.

   "Don't let Schlatt see it." He says turning back towards the door. "Drink it if he splashes potions on you." He walks out the door leaving me alone again.

   The clock on the wall has lasted two hours since Fundy left. It was now midnight and I could hear wolves howling outside. The door flew open with a drunk looking Schlatt walking in.

   "Change your mind yet?" He asks walking over.

   "No and I never will," I tell him.

   "You might as well marry me. No one is looking for you." He says scoffing. "You son't even know what the dumb pig looks like."

   "Techno will find me and kill you." I said to him, He slaps me harshly,causing me to fall to the floor.

   "What's this?" He asks, reaching behind me grabbing the milk. "Looks like we have a traitor on our hands."

   He puts the milk in his pocket and grabs a shovel off his back.

   "What are you gonna do? Dig a hole?" I ask with a chuckle.

   "Nope." He says raising it and bringing it down on my legs. A loud crack could be heard followed by me screaming. He does the same to the other leg before walking to the door.

   "Have a good sleep princess." He throws potions at me once again. The potions made me tired straight away meaning they were stronger. I closed my eyes, falling asleep once again.

   I felt someone unhook the chains on my wrist and pick me up. I opened my eyes the best I could, seeing a man in a beanie carrying me.

   "What's happening?" I ask..

   "We're leaving." Fundy says appearing next to the man. He had bruises on his face and small cuts.

   "I'm sorry he found the milk."

   "It's what made me decide it was time to leave." He says with a smile as we walk into the forest. "This is Quackity. He decided to leave as well."

   "Do I have a spot in the castle?" Quackity asks.

   "When they see two people taking me back to the castle I'm sure they will be very thankful." I say. "Do you have any milk or potions?"

   "No sorry I didn't have time to make any." Fundy says.

   "Fundy carry them. I'll check the map." Quackity says. He puts me on Fundys back and pulls out a map.

Techno's pov

   "Can we please stop?" Tommy whines. "I'm tired."

   "Not until we find y/n." I told him.

   "Techno." Jade says bringing her horse next to mine. "I want to find her as much as you but look at us. If we had to fight we wouldn't have the energy."

   "We'll rest for the night." I say stopping Carl. "Sleep the best you can, we're leaving early."

   Everyone hops off their horses setting up tents while I start the fire.

   "I'll take my first watch." Jade says.

   "No you'll sleep, I've got it." I told her. She nodded her head walking into her tent. Everyone went into their tent as I sat by the fire with Floof by my feet. I sat there watching the watch as it stood still. I put it next to Floof and pulled a raw chicken from my bag and started to cook it. I gave the chicken to Floof and laid on the log I saw sitting on. Floof barked at something in the forest making me sit up. A click sound came from the compass making me pick it up. Floof barked again and ran into the forest.

   She's moving...Danger...Find...

   "Floof! Get back here!" I yell before following him. He ran weaving through the trees and jumping over fallen trees. I lost him after he crawled under a tree.

   "Floof!" I yelled and heard him bark. I ran towards the bark and saw him growling at two men.

   "Whoa puppy, we're just trying to help someone." The man in the beanie says.

   "Floof?" I heard someone ask but it was neither of the men. Floof started whining at the fox man.

   "Floof!" I called. He looks at me but stays by the men.

   "Prince Technoblade." The fox man said, starting to walk over. "The princess."

   "What about her?" I ask him.

   "Techno?" Y/n says lifting her head from his shoulder.

   Y/n...She hurt..Their fault...Kill them...

   "Y/n." I say quietly. I reach forward, taking her from his back. I took notice of what she looked like. Her legs were broken, she was cold, and skinny. I carry her back towards camp with the two following. I set her by the fire giving her a potion of regeneration and milk. I stand up and face the other two.

   "Give me one reason to not kill you."

   "It's ok Techno they helped me." Y/n says pulling on my pant leg weakly.

   "You two stay here." I say walking to Jade tent. I carried her from her tent into Beccas. I walk back to the fire and pick y/n up. "You two sleep there."

   The two nod and walk into the tent. I walk into my tent with Floof following. I lay y/n on the bed and Floof jumped up with her. I exit the tent putting the fire out, lighting a lantern, and going back to the tent. I set the lantern on the floor before looking at y/n. His legs looked better and the potions seemed to wear off. I give her another regen potion before blowing out the lantern and laying on the floor.

   "Tech?" I hear y/n say.

   "Yea?" I ask.

   "Can you sleep on the bed with me?" She asks.

   "Of course." I stand up and lay next to her. She pays her head on my chest wrapping arms around me. I slowly wrap my arms around her protectively.

   "Goodnight Techno." She says quietly.

   "Goodnight y/n.." I say, closing my eyes.
