Undesirable Love

Chapter 12

   Waking up in the morning to Floof licking my face I see that Techno is gone. I changed my clothes and started looking for him. I looked in one of the gardens, the kitchen, training grounds,and dining hall. He was nowhere to be found so I looked for the guards. Now that I'm looking around there is no one in the castle. Every room was empty and there was only Floof following me. I walked into the throne room and there was blood everywhere. Bodies scattered around. Phil and Kristen, dead. The guards, dead. Jade, Tommy, Ranboo and Tubbo, dead. Wilbur, Becca, and Niki, dead. Everyone was there except Tehcno.

   I walked out of the room not wanting to see the bloody mess anymore. I went to the last place I didn't check. The first place me and Techno had a real conversation. I walked towards the garden in the back Floof still following. He started growling towards the garden door from across the hall and ran outside. I went to followed him but stopped abruptly as I heard a loud yelp. I opened the door to see Floof laying in a pool of blood, someone standing over him with a bloody sword. The red cape flowing in the wind, the sun glared off his polished gold crown, blood dripping off his netherite sword.

   "Athena." He says in a gravelly voice. I back away as he holds his hand out towards me. "Come with me my love."

   "You're not Techno." I say.

   "You're right." He turns towards me with his head down. "I'm the blood god" He looks up at me, blood red eyes staring at mine.

   I turned and ran back into the castle. Running through the halls trying to get to the front of the castle. I open the last door to see Technoblade standing in front of the castle door.

   "Come with me Athena and we could live a happy life."

   "No you're not the real Technoblade."

   "Oh but I am." He walks towards me. "This is the side I don't show. You're scared aren't you? Backing away from your own fiance in fear. We're supposed to live happily ever after. Isn't that what you want?"

   He has now backed me up against the door, trapping me. He puts a hand on my cheek and leans in kissing me. I try to resist but end up giving in and kissing him back. I feel something go through my stomach as he released from the kiss. I gasped as I looked down to see him pull his sword out.

   "Happily ever after Athena." He smirks and walks out the castle doors as I fall limp to the ground.

   "Y/n wake up!" I hear someone yell. I open my eyes, sitting up looking around. Techno quickly pulled me into a hug. "Are you alright?"

   "Yea just a nightmare." I say my voice shaking a little.

   "Do you want to talk about it?"

   "No" I say. "I don't want to think of it." He nods.

   "I'll let you get changed." He lets go of the hug and leaves the room. Floof jumped onto the bed licking my hand.

   Y/n!" Jade yells as she ran into the room quickly closing and locking the door behind her. "Becca is gonna kill me!"

   "Let me in!" Becca yells banging on the door.

   "What did you do?" I ask standing up.

   "Uh well I." She twittles with her fingers.

   "What?"

   "I told Wilbur she likes him." She says quietly. She looks up as the door unlocks.

   "There you go." Techno says putting a key in his pocket.

   "Thanks." Becca says with a smile. "Get over here!" Becca starts chasing Jade jumping over the bed running around the room. Jade runs and hides behind Techno then runs the opposite way escaping Becca. She came back to try and run pass him but he stops her by picking her up.

   "Hey! Put me down!" Jade yells.

   "What's wrong with you two?" He asks.

   "Nothing." They both say and he looks at me.

   "Jade told Wilbur Becca likes him." I say.

   "Y/n!" Becca yells in embarrassment. "Stop telling people!"

   "Nerd." Jade and Techno say.

   "I gotta go do something." Becca says with a smile as she thinks of payback.

   "What?" Jade asked curiously.

   "Oh just gonna go talk to a prince and his guards." She says walking out of the room.

   "Wait! Stop!" Jade yells trying to get out of Techno's grip. "Put me down."

   "I'm giving you a headstart Becca better go fast." He says as a small smirk appears from under his mask. Becca starts running as Jade starts kicking. He puts her down and she runs quicker than I've ever seen.

   "Do you want to go to the village with me?" Techno asks, grabbing his crown.

   "I thought you would be interrogating the prisoner." I say.

   "I'm not allowed to do that." He replies. "I might get violent."

   "Can Floof come with us?"

   "If you keep an eye on him."

   "I promise." I say with a smile and grab the leash clipping it to Floof. "Let's go."

   "Shouldn't you change?" He asks.

   "Oh yea." I say looking down to see I'm still in my pajamas.

   "We'll meet you in the carriage." He says with a smile taking Floof's leash leaving the room. I quickly changed into a new outfit Niki made for me. It was pink and flowy at the bottom if you span. I went to the front gates and climbed into the carriage when Floof jumped into my lap. The ride was short as we arrived fairly quickly.

   "What are we doing here?" I ask.

   "I needed to get out of the castle for a little." He replies. "I thought you might want to as well."

   "Thank you for thinking of me." I told him.

   "My pleasure Athena." He says as we head towards the bakery.

   We pick up some bread and sweets before walking out. As we walked out there were a few village children that came over to pet Floof. They all greeted me and Techno with the manner they were taught to show the royals. I gave Techno Floof's leash and the children held my hands showing me around. As one of the children was showing me the fountain a cat walked by and Floof growled at it. He started barking before running to chase it. The leash slipped from Techno's hand as Floof was running after the cat.

   "Floof!" Techno yelled chasing after the dog.

   "Floof!" I yelled following. We went after him Techno staying as close to him as he could. Floof ran into the spruce forest barking. I caught up with Techno as we went through the forest calling for him. We got to the other side of the forest with no trace of Floof.

   "We'll find him." Techno reassured me, putting his arm over my shoulder. We walked back to the village and got in the carriage. As we arrived back at the castle, Techno told a few guards to go look for Floof. I went into the room and laid on the bed as Techno closed the door.

   "The guards said they'll be looking non stop until they find him." Techno says hanging his crown.

   "Do you think he's ok?" I ask.

   "They'll find him y/n don't worry." He says and sits on the bed.

   "Wake me for dinner please." I say, closing my eyes.

   "Have a good rest." He lays next to me with a book.
