Chapter 23

I walked in the food court and went to Mc Donald's. I usually don't eat it but today I was in a 'what the hell' mood. My mom got her food and sat down. I grabbed my food and joined my mom. We were having a very funny conversation and I felt someone tap my back.

Of course. It had to be him. I pretended like I didn't see Jack standing in front of me and turned around and ate a fry. "Alex please I need to talk to you." he pleaded. I still pretended not to here him. He started walking away and I thought he was done but he wasn't.

He stood on top of the table in front of the whole food court and began talking. "Alexandra Blaze Lanson. I'm not gonna lie. I fucked up big time. I was a jealous bitch and I am SO sorry. I called you names that should have never been spoken and you called me some too. But, to be honest I deserved every last one of them."

By now he had my full attention

"Alex please take me back. I'm sorry. I wish I could take everything I said back. Alex, baby I promise I will treat you how you want to be treated. I'll take care of you and never let you go. Alex, I- I LOVE you. I love you so much. Every time I see your perfect face I swear I get butterflies. You make me feel like I can actually be me. So Alex, Please, please, pleeeease take me back. I can't even see my life without you. Pleeease Alex."

I was literally bawling my eyes out.

I quickly got out my chair and ran on the table and kissed Jack so tight. I missed his touch so much. It just felt so right. "Jack, I love you too. I live you so much baby." I whispered in his ear as I was crying.

The whole mall was clapping for us and my mom was crying as hard as I was. While Jack was hugging me I heard him whisper "I got my baby back."
