Chapter 41

*1 week later*

ALEX POV

I woke up to a quite house. Jack was on my left sleeping so peacefully. This might sound weird but I love watching him sleep, he is so cute. I kissed Jack on the cheek and got up to use the bathroom. As soon as I got up a little piece of paper fell off my desk. I picked it up and it read 'jacks dad number'. Shit, I forgot all about him. Ad I was thinking about what Jack did to his dad I felt a strong pair of arms wrap around me. "hey bab-. Alex what the hell is this?" Jack said stealing the piece of paper from my hands.

"Jack don't get mad okay but I think you should talk to him."

"Alex there is no was in hell I am talking to that son of a bitch ever again." Jack was furious. "Do you no how much he hurt me and my mom. Especially my mom. She would have dreams about him coming back in the middle of the night and wake up crying because she knew that would never happen. He left us. He wanted to be out of our lives so I'm going to keep it that way." Jack was getting a little ready eyed right about now.

I went over to him and held him in my arms.

"Baby, Jack, I can't tell you that I know how you're feeling right now cause I don't. But what ever shit your dad did to you and your mom is in the past. The man that came to the door to see his son really wanted to see his son. He even took a beating which was probably well deserved but he still tried to stay after. So, maybe you should take him up on the offer and go see him. Because if you don't you might regret it in the future."

"Okay I'll go."
