ALEX POV

After Jacks dad left I went onto the kitchen with Brigid, Nate, Sammy, and Johnson as they were trying to cool Jack off but he was still infuriated.
"I SHOULD GO FUCKING KILL HIM." jack said.

"Hey guys can you give Jack and I sometime to talk please?" I asked. They all agreed and walked out the room.

"WHO THE HELL DOES HE THINK HE IS. HE CANT JUST COME WALTZING BACK INTO MY LIFE." Jack yelled.

"Jack listen to me."

"I JUST CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE." he balled up his fist which made me flinch a little thinking of my old abusive boyfriend. Jack could clearly see that I was scared.

"Oh my gosh Alex, baby. Did you think I was going to hurt you?" He said in a more peaceful tone. I couldn't lie to him to I just shook my head yes.

"Alex, I would never lay a hand on you. I'm not like your old boyfriend. If I ever hurt you I would be hurting myself too because to know that I caused you such pain would kill me. I'm sorry I got so mad that I scared you. I just can't believe that guy." he said hugging me now.

"Jack... I'm so sorry that you had to go through that. But maybe you should talk to him. He gave me his number."

"Lex, listen to me. I do not want you contacting that man ok. I don't give a shit what science or the law says. That man is NOT my father. He was never there for my mom and I and he can't just try to come back into my life again.

"Ok Jack." Jack sat down on the couch and put me on his lap while cradling me. We stayed in that position for a while.

*1 hour later*
Jack had fell asleep since it was pretty late. I did want to know more about Jacks dad so I went to go find Johnson. I went to his room and he was texting somebody when I jumped on him.

"Shit Lex, you scared me." he laughed.

"Sorry, JJ." I giggled.

He was still texting and I took a glance at his phone. He was texting a girl.

"Ohhhh, who's Cynthia." I said winking at him.

"Oh my god can we be mature about this. But if you must know she is this girl I met yesterday when I was walking around the town. She is so beautiful. She had long brown hair and brown eyes. She is really sweet and there's just something special about her."

"Awe little JJ is growing up." I said pretending to cry.

"Oh shut up." he laughed. "But why did you really come in here."

"Well I want to know more about Jacks dad."

"Alex, to be honest I don't even really remember what he was like. He left Jack and his mom when I was really young so I really don't know much about him."

"Oh ok well thanks anyway." I said leaving his room.

Why is life so confusing I thought.
