ALEX POV
"Alex get down here so we can leave" my mom said. I was upstairs in my room saying by to all the good and bad memories I had shared in this room. I was going to miss my family, friends, and everyone else I possibly could love in Florida. I was going to miss the sun and the beach. And most of all I was going to miss my best friend Lauren.
She was with me and stayed with me when no one else would. I know that sounds totally cliche but it is so true. She never turned her back on me, she never talked Crap about me, and she never ever let a boy get in the middle of our friendship. She was like me, but in a different body.
I was moving to Omaha, Nebraska. Ugh, what could be in Omaha besides cloudy days, and rain. I had to move because my mom got a new job promotion and then she found out it was in another freaking state.
"Alex get your ass down here right now, we are going to miss our flight" my mom said with more fury this time. I looked at my room one last time then walked out. Right then I knew this is gonna be hell.
