Naruto
Sasuke was safe, and that's all I needed to know. And we were back in Konoha.
I couldn't help but worry about him. The entire experience had left me paranoid, so I annoyingly tailed him sometimes.
What if they took him again? What if I thought he was safe and all of a sudden, he disappeared from my sight and I couldn't find him?
"Naruto!" I heard Sasuke's irritated voice say. "Will you quit following me around like that?"
"Sasuke-chan," I laughed nervously. "I...uhh..."
"Get lost!" He said and quickly walked away. I hate to admit it but it stung.
I watched him go before I decided I couldn't anymore. I found him practicing in a clearing in the woods. He was always working so hard it made me smile.
I tackled him to the ground and put my knees up on either side of him.
"Naruto?" He asked and looked up at me, his cheeks reddening as I leaned closer.
"Sasuke-chan, you need to stop avoiding me," I told him. "Do you even remember how we kissed in that dark place?"
He visibly gasped and covered his mouth. "I'm not avoiding you," he said from behind his hand.
"You are!" I told him. I didn't tell him it was somehow driving me crazy. "I even thought you'd treat me to my favorite..."
I sounded hurt, but fuck it. He let his hand off his face and much to my surprise, they rested against the backs of my thighs.
"I was going to..." he said while looking anywhere else but at me. "Tonight." He muttered the last part.
"Really!" I asked him and he nodded.
"Thanks for ruining the surprise," he said bitterly.
I couldn't help but laugh. "It doesn't change a thing," I assured him. "I'm so happy!"
He seemed to turn redder. "Can you get off me now?" He said as his hands left my thighs. I wanted them there.
"Fine," I said grumpily. "I'll leave you to practice or whatever."
Sasuke got up from where he was. "Naruto," he called.
"Hm?" I asked, eager to return to him.
"About that kiss," he couldn't look me in the eye like it was killing him to say it. "I didn't forget... I think about it every day."
I beamed while looking at him. Was he stuck in the same situation I was?
"I'll meet you later Sasuke-chan," I said and I was off.
