Echo's perspective
I know Ace likes me. It's pretty obvious. I am still nervous around Whitebeard though.
Nobody really notices me walking around, either because they have a massive hangover or are drunk. So I don't get hoarded with questions about Shanks.
I mainly cook the food because nobody else knows how to. I was offered drinks many times, but I just declined each time. Most of the time I'm busy chatting maps and trying to figure out how to do things.
Other times I'm trying to see if I can make this one scar go away. I can't get rid of it. I have multiple scars across my body, a massive one on my back, one that traces up my arm, a faded one that goes across my face, you name it.
My voice sounds like a male's so some people always think I'm a boy at first sight. Well no. I'm female.
Well that day I was told to go to the crows nest and keep eye for marine ships or anything else. Ace was up there with me. I saw a marine ship in the distance.
"Ace I'm gonna fly over there and try to get em. If I roar, I'm in trouble. Got it?" He nodded. I grew the bird wings and flew out far enough to turn into a dragon without hitting the ship.
I flew to the massive marine ship and landed in the deck. I swept my tail around and they started to through thick, tough ropes over me. Some had hooks that dug into my scales.
They started to pin me down. I roared the loudest I could. They then threw a loop over my about and tried to pin me again. I was thrashing. I couldn't fly away and my tail was lashing, hitting some marines over board.
I roared and felt a needle. DAMIT! They put sedation on...me.... I collapsed shanking the whole ship. I turned back, but it was too late. I felt the sedation flowing through my body. I heard yelling and chains clanking as they started to cuff me and tie me up.
My vision was going blur and the sounds were starting to mesh and combine. Darkness then enfolded me, into silence and unconsciousness.
Ace's perspective
I watched as the black dragon flew towards the ship. I jumped down from the crows nest. I started to walk away when I heard a roar. My eyes widened. Whitebeard walked out, and saw the massive marine ship in the distance.
"Pops, Echo went over there to stop them and she told me that if she roared, she needed help or something." That's when another ear shattering roar occurred. I covered my ears.
Pops eyes widened as well. I looked at the marine ship and saw a massive shape on it, thrashing. Soon it went limp and disappeared. My heart sank.
Whitebeard looked enraged. "I'm not going to let Shanks kid die. MEN, HEAD TOWARDS THE MARINE SHIP AT FULL SPEED! GO GO GO!" Soon everybody was rushing around, and I was panicking.
I accidentally set fire to the barrel I was moving, and had to beat it out. Ok ok ok. Ace calm down. Just calm down! CALM! THINK ONLY CALM! IM CALM! IM NOT PANICKING! IM DEFINITELY CALM!
We were heading full speed towards the marine ship. What are they going to do with Echo?
