"Art!" Tess yelled out catching my unconscious brother before he falls forward.

Holding his hand while sitting next to him and Sylvie, I held his hand as I waited with everyone else in the room for him to wake up, Tess laid him down on her lap as she watched him, everyone was anxious as they waited for him to wake up.

Sylvie and I were holding his hands waiting for him to wake up, while commander Virion was pacing down the hall, Varay's usually expressionless face was showing she was concerned as well, the council members were discussing what to do while we wait for Arthur to wake up.

Aurora was sitting on a soft looking red couch, he was drinking some black liquid with a strong smell, he was clearly sure that he managed to completely revert what happened to Arthur, The rest of the lances were standing behind the council taking a glance at Arthur every once in a while.

Aurora finished his drink and stood up, Varay who was watching him flinched from his sudden movement, Aurora paid her no attention instead, he started conjuring an opaque orb, he finished conjuring it in a few seconds, he then conjured a gift box and put the orb in it.

He threw the orb towards us, Tess who had Arthur's head on her lap couldn't move, Sylvie pulled out her sword as I pulled out my bow, out of the corner of my eyes I could see the lances rushing over.

We all just stood there embarrassed when we realized that it wasn't meant to harm any of us.

"It seems you don't want the gift I was going to Arthur." Aurora sighed, as we all glanced at each other.

"That's a compass that Arthur will need, only he and I can actually use it." He added on seeing the curious expression replacing the fearful one on a few of the people present.

"Why can only the young general use it?" Elder Buhnd asked with an obvious hint of curiosity.

"I'm afraid I can't explain it to anyone here, only Sylvie Arthur and I are allowed to learn why. For now at the very least." Aurora explained.

To everyone present, this boy who looked around my age was the strongest person they ever met, seeing as very few in this room ever met an asura let alone see one fight, it was apparent to everyone here that Aurora was on the level of the strongest asura, maybe even stronger.

That thought was quickly cut off as everyone heard a groan coming from the floor, everyone looked at the source of the sound, what they saw was the auburn haired teen finally waking up.

"Art!" Sylvie, Tess, and I yelled out at once.

"Hey, what happened?" Arthur asked his voice sounding weak.

"It seems you finally woke up," Aurora said softly.

"Finally? How long have I been out?" My brother asked.

"Over three months..." Tess mumbled lightly.

"T-Three m-months?" Arthur looked like he was about to faint.

Everyone there just watched in silence as commander Virion rushed over and hugged all four of us tightly, his expression brightening for the first time in months, the bags under his eyes evidence of how tired he was.

"Brat, I thought I lost you." Commander Virion muttered over and over again.

"Now, as much as I would like to leave you all for your reunion, we are still at war. And Arthur is probably not aware of what has happened in the past three months." Aurora noted.

"Ah, yes of course." Virion apologized.

As everyone stood up to enter a soundproof room Tess stopped Arthur, She hugged Arthur who hugged her back and started stroking her head.

"Stop making me worry so much, dummy" Tess stated with a hoarse voice.

"I'm sorry Tess." He replied before breaking the hug, he gave her a quick kiss before kneeling in front of me. "I'm sorry I made you worry too Ellie, Sylvie ." He hugged me and Sylvie tightly as we cried on his shoulder.

Peeking out of the door commander Virion looks at us with a solemn expression "Come on, brat." He called out to Arthur as the four of us followed him inside.

As we all got seated Aurora started explaining everything, he explained to us that all of the virta and indarth clans are our enemies, that the indarth clan massacred the ancient mages, he also explained the relictombs, and that they are our only hope.

"Arthur, did fate show you a vision while you were in your comatose state?" Aurora asked Arthur as he took a sip from the same black liquid I saw him drink earlier.

"It did, it showed me a vision of a fight between the scythes and retainers, there were five scythes and five retainers fight "me" and a traitor scythe and retainer," Arthur explained.

"I see... We must make the first move, Arthur you will go into the relictombs- by yourself and find the four ruins Sylvia told you about." He started "The rest of us will be fighting in the actual war, while you get insight into fate." He added on.

"What if a scythe or multiple retainers show up? You'll ne--" Arthur started to protest but was quickly cut off.

"I will supply the lances with elixirs so they reach the integration phase, while they won't stand a chance against an asura they will be strong enough to handle a scythe." Aurora cut him off.

"And if Epheotus does attack Alacrya or Dicathen, that will mean a worst case scenario." Aurora's expression darkened. "A fight that will level the world." Everyone's expression turned grim as they started imaging a war of that magnitude.

"What you're saying is that you need Arthur's help." Commander Virion guessed.

"Yes, if Arthur does not become stronger than an asura by the time they attack, then the entire will fall onto my shoulders." He started explaining once more. "Even if I was able to defeat all the asura, the entire world would be in ruins. My ability in the life and creation arts are too weak to fix that, Arthur on the other hand does not, if he survives the end of this war then there is hope for this world to live on." Aurora finished his explanation.

Everyone tried to think of an argument against what Aurora said about Epheotus, but they could they didn't want to accept fighting against eight of the strongest races, while they all did not feel confident in surviving the war, they were confident in being able to contribute.

"Alright... I'll do it," Arthur said after a long pause.

"Good, although I was about to say that you would already have to go to the relictombs since everything anyone did will be useless if Agrona learns to control fate." Aurora chuckled despite the horror in everyone's eyes.

"Now, let the game of chess being." He said aloud "And we will strike first." He grinned devilishly.
