Tessia Earlith -PoV-

"So it's true." Virion muttered.

"Wait, Wait, What? " Asked Arthur confused.

"When I was going to wake you up for your first day of training back in Elenoir, I heard you muttering something about reincarnation." He replied.

"You're still more than welcome to become my grandson in law." he added with a smirk

Arthur sighed his face blushing brightly.

"Uuu grandpa." I said pulling his beard.

"Ouch, ouch little one it was a joke." he replied rubbing his beard.

"Grandpa tell us about Zedd, we should probably get ready depending on how long the journey is." I inquired my face bright red trying to avoid his jokes.

"Ah, Zedd is a mystery, I never met him but one of his soldiers did save hmy life, though he did say he already met Arthur, all I'll say is he is strong." My grandfather answered.

"I don't think I've heard his name before, Well let's get supplies for the journey." Arthur stated while looking puzzled.

Me and Arthur got our supplies and headed to the skydrop to get our mounts and start the journey, Sylvie stayed in the castle to sleep.

As we headed north where my grandpa told us to head, I thought of how Arthur never complained about any hardships merely overcoming them.

"Tess, You okay?" Arthur asked snapping me out of my thought.

"Yeah I'm fine just thinking about something." I replied.

As the sun set down signaling night time we landed near a river and made camp.

Arthur was setting up the tents, while I tried to catch some fish, I tried many different methods, from using my sword to a fishing rod.

Arthur noticing my struggle smirked, "Need help there?" he asked still smirking.

"Y-Yes." I sighed in defeat not expecting Arthur to have any better luck.

Arthur put his hand above the water and moved it slowly but still managed to catch a fish.

"H-How?" I asked in shock of him doing something with ease while I failed.

"I predicted where the fish was going to dodge, fish don't think they just react." he answered.

I tried doing the same thing but failed.

"It took me 3 years to master, you can't wake up and be able to do it."
Arthur chuckled.

"Fine. Let's head back to camp." I sighed in defeat.

Me and Arthur were sitting next to each other around the campfire.

"Hey Tess?" Arthur called out to me while taking a bite of his fish.

"Hmm?" i hummed while doing the same.

"How do you feel about me now that you know about my secret?"

I could feel my face heating up forgetting all about the cold around us.

"W-What do you m-mean? I don't know what you're talking about."
I said turning around so he won't notice me blushing.

'Please don't look at me, don't look at me'

He turned around and faced me, I could feel my face heating up even more.

He held my hand looked me in the eye and said " You know what I mean."

"Why are you asking stupid questions dummy." I said standing up leave forgetting he's holding my hand.

My eyes started watering and tearing, he stood up, I hugged him tightly burying my head in his chest.

"I luv you." these were the words I always knew I wanted to say to him.

Looking up while he pats my head I asked nervously "W-What about you?"

He didn't answer, I got scared he might not love me, but then I felt his hot breath getting closer while I did the same.

Our lips locked and we kissed, when we broke the kiss he put a hand on my cheek and looked me in the eye and muttered " I love you too. "

Just like that my whole life turned upside down, I couldn't contain my joy, and kissed him loving every moment of it.
